Old style HTML is still valuable to know... especially when it comes to email design. Sometimes the only way to make something 100% browser proof, is to revert to the most basic code.

Interesting to look back on a website history - all the revisions & rebuilds since 2008 - how you have to keep evolving a website to keep up with the times!

Working on a large format infographic installation for a local school... intending to educate the kids about environmental issues. Will be fitting out a whole room with these panels.

The trickiest part of this was to order the information & layout in a fun & colourful way. The panels will have interactive video sections dotted about (where you see a black rectangle) so the kids won't be totally bored with all that reading!

Logo design & label design for Goatylicious... a free range goats milk product, coming soon to the local Welsh shops! Was important to be vibrant - including a vector illustration of one of their favourite goats! The logo will be applied to other marketing material like posters & banners... eventually a website too.

Experimenting a bit with HTML & CSS... trying to create a very simple holding page. I wanted the background colour to be very strong & vibrant, also to change subtly... to give a bit more to look at. Check it out at www.smb.me.uk

Another simple web design... new to my portfolio. Along with another 2 websites released this week. My more challenging projects, this week, include illustrating a map of a large university - going off the original architect drawings & Google Maps to convey the surroundings. That was 10 times more taxing than any web design I've ever done! I'll release the results ASAP

Nice simple web design for Skinny Lift... new to my portfolio. This web design keeps it simple by having all product information on the home page, nullifying any navigation issues (although it obviously has plenty of scope for future additions).

The website features a nice full-screen slider, with big titles & buttons - and is a fully responsive / mobile friendly web design... so hopefully will have no compatibility issues either. Keeping it simple stupid!

Loads of new stuff on my portfolio...

Already designing calendars for 2018... this one uses my usual A4 template. Keeping it clean & simple, to showcase the images. The calendar was then printed in bulk... which keeps the costs down. Can be a nice little earner!

After creating the packaging... they need to become products on a website... then they need to be promoted! Sometimes social media can be the best way to promote a new product, if you have a big following. How do you get a big following?

How do you get the most out of social media? How do you generate interest... when everything has been done before - or has it? It's all about giving something back - giving valuable / interesting information... and conveying that in the least amount of space possible. Simple.
