The University’s Alumni Association presented its Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award, Humanitarian Award, Harold J. Fitterer Service Award and Recent Alumni Award last Friday, April 20 on campus in the Centennial Student Union’s Ostrander Auditorium.

Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Business will hold its annual research day event tomorrow, Friday, April 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the University’s Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, located at 424 N. Riverfront Drive, Room 210, in Mankato.

Recipients of College of Business faculty research awards will give presentations. The event is open to the public. There is no cost, but those wishing to attend are asked to register online here: https://buff.ly/2KhuPwi

The Minnesota Zoo partnered with the Department of Natural Resources to help bring bison to Minneopa State Park near Mankato. “A lot of people think of the zoo as a destination, but we're very conservation based,” Zoo Director John Frawey ’87 said. “Our mission is to save animals, not just to show them.”
