Mortal Kombat Australia fansite was created late March 2011 by a couple of MK fans just prior the MK9 game release. We started due to the fact Australia wasn't getting the game because of a lack of an R18+ game rating in Oz.
In a short time it has come from a very basic beginning to a small community of gamers and fans alike. MKAU has been through 5 facelifts since it's inception. We aim to create a site that isn't just for MK fans, but all gamers.
In recent times we have joined the WB Games Mortal Kombat Kommunity which enables us to be able to give away download kodes to our followers. Thanks to WB Games for those kodes! We all appreciate it.
At the beginning of 2012, Mortalkombat.com.au began the transition to MKAU Gaming. We have done this to expand in to all games as we began receiving support from publishers for reviewing games and receiving press content. It was at this point, we realised MKAU had moved from being just a fan site run part-time by a couple of MK fanatics, to a full-time gaming site.
Now, MKAU Gaming has become a gaming site for everyone. It has finally completed the transition from Mortal Kombat Australia to MKAU Gaming. MKAU gaming is supported by the publishers below and we are very happy to have their support. As we move into the future, we will be expanding into all areas of gaming.
Many thanks go out to:
