Who doesn't love brunch? Get in line early! http://buff.ly/2ba5p5b
Brunch in San Francisco is not so much a meal as it is a sacred ritual. Every Saturday and Sunday, the city goes to worship over eggs, potatoes, breakfast meats, and other delights all done up in their Sunday best.

Pros: Central & convenient if you are looking to stay within the city.Wifi available, free breakfast and friendly front desk service Cons: very old-fashion, hotel does not invest in updating or remodeling, "it is what it is" no parking Our experience: We booked our hotel on our way to SF and briefly read the reviews on Mithila Hotel (big no no!)We got there on Wednesday night at around 6 o'clock and checked in. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and gave us a few tips as to parking and places to keep ourselves out from at night. Walking up toour room (3rd floor) there was a very unpleasant smell that came from the entrance all the way up to the 3rd floor hall. The smell lasted the entire two nights we we were there. When we open our room to the hotel it was not a shocker to see what we were walking into: small room & bathroom, 50 year old carpet that is lightly vacuumed, shower curtains with mold on the bottom and sheets that I did not dare to sleep on or with. It is definitely not a hotel in which you want to stay with your family especially if you have little ones that like to touch anything and everything. I had my kids walking the little time we were in the room with socks and showering with sandals. We would arrive to our hotel late at night and wake up early in the morning to get out of there. I posted up on top on pros: that this hotel offers free continental breakfast, though we love free breakfast at hotels and love to save that money for lunch and dinner we never though twice about having breakfast at the Mithila Hotel. Our best advice is this: book yourself a hotel in which you can rest comfortably (you will need it) and that you actually don't mind eating there and hanging out, or sleeping in for that matter. Not being able to get the adequate rest really knocked us off of our horse. Being cheap can cause you a bit more at the end.

I had a bad experience, what we found when we arrived was not what the images portrayed on the Internet when we booked the reservation. We had no air-conditioning and the TV did not operate correctly, with limited channels The oder in the room could've been improved with plug in scents. The bathroom tub did not drain at all.The bed was the worst, very uncomfortable ,very noisy for me. The final nail in the coffin was we had to pay $30 for parking which was a block away with limited hours of operation. Our comments are in hopes that you'll improve for further reservations for others, but for us we will not be back.

Great value for those on a tight budget in an expensive city. If you explore the building, you can appreciate the original charm, like the old elevator, and narrow stairs to the roof(you are not supposed to go up there, but I did)

The room was extremely hot. Noise from guests in nearby rooms was very loud. Interior of room and common spaces was run down. With all those negatives, why 3 stars? The price was appropriate so the hotel met, and maybe just barely exceeded expectations.

Great location within Union Square and most of the attractions! The hotel has a Southeast Asian vibe and they give out complimentary wine around 5:30pm, although we did not partake. The rooms are on the cozy side but super clean with cute furniture. The only thing I didn't like was the price of parking- around $40 per night and valet service is super slooooow.

Offered a 3 bed room on a booking site. Turned out to only have rooms with two beds. A normal and a queen size one. The discounted parking they offered also dident work out, so we had to pay 60$ a day somewere else.
