This question comes from +Melissa Quigley and was originally asked on Facebook:

Question about emails. I'm wondering how you limit the amount of context your readers see in the emails so that they have to click through to your blog to read the rest? Does anyone know how to do that? I'm just using the feed burner through google. Thanks!

In FeedBurner, you want to go to manage your feed, then click on 'Optimize' in the top tabs. Then in the sidebar, click on 'Summary Burner' and select the length you want to show (number of characters) then click 'Activate'

Alright, we have our first question coming from +Kristen Duke  the lovely photographer at http://www.kristendukephotography.com/

Her questions is:
Is there a google plus plugin you recommend for our sites? It seems right now most plugins share a small picture.

Now, there is a little trick you can use for social media sites to make sure that the picture that shows up is a great one. Sites like Facebook and Google+ will just pull any image they can find when you post a link to a page, or you can use what is called "Open Graph" tags to tell it specifically which image to use.

So, here is the trick I like to use. Any social plugin that you want to use should be fine. But, I also like to use a plugin similar to:
http://wordpress.org/plugins/open-graph-protocol-in-posts-and-pages/

What that does is for each post, you can specify what you want the title, picture, and description to be when someone shares your content on social media.

I'll do some research and try and find a couple WordPress plugins that make this easy besides just the one up above. I hope that helps!

Feel free to add any follow up questions in the comments below!

Ok, just so I can get an idea of what sort of things we should be talking about here, why don't you go ahead and give me an idea of some of the issues you as bloggers run into on a regular basis. I'll try and focus content around those things.

Hey bloggers, this isn't directly related to blogging, but I need to ask a favor. If you have two minutes to spare, I would appreciate if you could fill out this survey for me about children's toys:

Thanks to those of you that are able to do it!

Hey Bloggers!

This is a follow up to what I had talked about before regarding sharing your posts on social media and making sure that they looked nice when you did that. +Kristi Hines put together a really nice post outlining a few other tricks I didn't mention:

Hey Bloggers!

I know many of you feel like you don't know much about Google+ and how to use it effectively, so I wanted to share this video that +Mom It Forward put together!

They are also doing a part two of this, and you can sign up for it here:

Just wanted to start this off with some basic SEO information for everyone. Whenever I have someone ask me about learning SEO, I always refer them to this one. It is by far the best guide for someone that is wanting to learn the basics of how SEO works.

We were in town for a wedding and this place was recommended by my cousin. I have to say, this was DELICIOUS! I had the B B B Burger and it was one of the best burgers I ever had. The 50% ground beef and 50% ground bacon burger was awesome. Plus, the mac and cheese bacon balls were a great appetizer. If you are in the area, this is a must visit.

Mark, the manager, was great. Very helpful and friendly. Had to get a tire replaced that had gone flat and I was in and out in 20 minutes. These guys were fast, professional, and friendly. This was my first time but I'll be back because I had a great experience. Would definitely recommend these guys at this Sandy location. I just went again to get another flat fixed and Mark didn't even charge me for it. He told me that having to pay for the tow truck was enough of a bad day. These guys understand customer service.

Got stuck in a snow storm a few months ago and decided to eat lunch while we waited it out. This was delicious and the atmosphere is great. Had some delicious carne asada burrito with their delicious salsa. I will be back next time I'm in midway.

Ever since SLAB opened I've been a regular there. The huge slices of pizza are delicious, and they flavors are very unique. The owner there learns your name and will chat with you every time come. Extremely friendly. My parents love to go every time they come into town. Since they expanded they have really done some great stuff with the atmosphere. They now hold concerts inside, and overall it's just a really relaxed atmosphere. I definitely recommend anyone try this out.
