I tried to submit a story to it and I wasn't able to get it to accept it.
I'll check it out soon. Have you used it? What do you think?
it's definitely got first day launch issues, but ya know... i kind of like it. i think it may be far too little far too late, but with all the clutter gone and all the stupid bloat gone, i might just use digg again... i'll definitely check out the mobile app. its nice to see someone give it some care. I was a heavy digg user for a long time, but quit just before v4 came out because it was clear Kevin's agenda and digg / digg user's weren't exactly his focus any longer.
I like the streamlined design, looks good. I was about to try it out, I stopped at the requirement to sign up with Facebook.
It looks like my Flipboard feed. The design is attractive but the content is the content I have already aggregated for myself. I'll send people here but I won't be going here myself.
the facebook login is a holdover from late v3... i was hoping they would do away with that, but i always liked being able to post directly to fb.... i just don't want people who comment on a digg post on my wall to actually be commenting on digg instead. i hate that type of crap!
I don't even really understand what Digg is. Or Reddit for that matter. Are they just websites that grab internet tidbits and gather them around a recognized brand name?
its a way of sharing what you think is great news, others say yes i agree this is great and the best of the best shows up on the front page feed. back in the day it was great way to curate news feeds. in this day of rss and other readers, not so much, but it was the comments, at first, that really made it great.
