The Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF) and the Australian Procurement and Construction Council recently released a new document aimed to assist industry in their adoption and implementation of Project Team Integration and BIM. In late 2014 Mitchell Brandtman, in collaboration with Sunshine Coast Architects (a joint venture between HDR Rice Daubney and Architectus) and Lendlease's cost planning team, encountered a setback in modeling software compatibility that had a significant impact on revisioning time. Better support for the collaboration workflow with quantity surveyors was needed and was ultimately achieved in a way that will go on to benefit all designers and estimators working with ArchiCAD globally... http://mitbrand.com/blog/openbim-5d-collaboration-catalyst-for-software-changes/
