When should you use "reply all?"
While some say email is a dying breed (some colleges don’t even assign students email addresses), the fact is, many people still rely on email for personal and work communication. Even though this avenue of communication is considered a dinosaur by...

Lie on your resume and risk...
“Seeking liars; apply within.” An unlikely headline for any job. While some employers may be lazy and fail to confirm credentials before hiring certain applicants, people who embellish their qualifications or lie about them are always at risk for losing...

Ever given a strange excuse to miss work?
Is work becoming tiresome? Do you need a “mental health day” and a break from your job and co-workers? Sometimes, just calling in sick (cough, cough) doesn’t seem inventive or interesting enough, and you ramp it up a bit by...

Is it okay to swear at work?
It wouldn’t be surprising if you’ve heard what used to be language reserved for the locker room at work. As what used to be considered vulgar language makes its way into popular culture and finds its way on TV, many...

Is it important to have privacy on LinkedIn?
Privacy. Clearly, it’s fleeting in our “tell all,” “share everything on social media” society. As the fine line between the personal and the professional (is there even a line at all?) becomes less and less significant, it’s even more important...

Can you say "no" to your boss?
Are you the “yes man or woman” at work? Whenever your boss or a colleague needs anything, your name is at the tip of his or her tongue? If you are the go-to person at work when someone needs a “yes,” congratulations!...

A friend highly recommended Coffee Bianco, and she was absolutely right when she raved about this lovely place. Not only is it beautiful inside and large enough that you don't feel like you're joining your neighboring table's meeting, the food and drink is terrific. Sample the terrific Mediterranean fare (hummus, grape leaves and tabouli). I keep coming back for the "White Chocolate Symphony" frozen drink. Delicious! The wifi is great and responsive, and the furniture is comfortable, even if you want to stay for a few hours. The owner is very hospitable, and everyone who works here is very friendly and accommodating. It's a great place for one-on-one meeting, or for a small group get together. I'll be back!
