3 pranayamas for beginners There are countless Pranayamas with different objectives: to cool down, to warm up, to release anxiety, to energize, just to name a few. If you’re new to breath control exercises, here are three simple techniques you can try at home.

What if, instead of thinking about all of those things you will do in 2016, you focus on stop doing all of the things that distance yourself from happiness?

¿Y si este año en lugar de pensar en todo aquello que harás en el 2016 te propones dejar de hacer lo que ahora ya haces y que no te aporta felicidad?

Undeniable Signs of Aging
When do we stop growing 'up' and begin to grow 'old'?  Is it when kids expose the obvious generation gap between you and them by addressing you  as ' Madam'  /  'Sir' ? In my particular case, there was  that  (aren't kids lovely? - sense the irony there) bu...

Lovely venue, warming hosts and great yoga :) Yoga Breaks in Spain is the perfect holiday to disconnect with the day to day busyness and fully immerse in days of well-being that help you connect with yourself. I have been twice with them in Denia and once in Altea and will sure repeat in the future. The venue in Altea is a charming family owned hotel overseeing the Altea mountains. The area is very quiet and less than 20 minutes walk from Altea town. It has a swimming pool for hotel guests to enjoy. There is a lovely yoga room with huge glass windows overseeing the green mountains. Nicole and Gary feel you welcome from the very first day. Their energy makes guest feel at ease and able to make the most of their stay. There is the perfect combination of organised activities (always optional) and free time. All in all, the best gift that you could treat yourself to.

I have been twice with them in Denia and once in Altea and will sure repeat in the future. The venue in Denia is a small charming family owned hotel in a quiet street. Every room is unique and the food served is beautiful and delicious. It has an inner patio where we were able to practice yoga during the warm days. For the less warm days (it's never really cold), there is a cosy studio with glass ceiling in the hotel. Nicole and Gary feel you welcome from the very first day, which is something I truly valued specially the first time I visited, since I was travelling solo and hadn't before practised yoga. Their energy makes guest feel at ease and able to make the most of their stay. There is the perfect combination of organised activities (always optional) and free time. All in all, the best gift that you could treat yourself to.

I graduated from one of Mike's Shoden Reiki Level One training courses this year. One of the things I really liked and that differs from other courses, is the reduced number of students. We were only 5, which allowed Mike to spend time with each one of us, answer all of our questions and provide valuable feedback and personalisation. There was a lot of follow up after the course and he is always keen to answer any questions or provide more information via email after the course. Mike's expertise is deep and I would strongly recommend his courses
