All the signs of spring are in the air! The trees blossoming, the birds chirping, the [long] lines at the car wash… Once the weather starts to warm up, people definitely start thinking about getting their cars back in shape. We put our cars through a lot during the wintertime, especially here in Utah. The ...

What's your "cruze" like? http://bit.ly/1SJgZ80
The countryside around Nashville, Tennessee, is criss-crossed by wonderful country highways with twisting bends and rolling hills that really showcase what a car can do, which is why Chevrolet invited us there to experience the redesigned 2016 Cruze.

I haven't bought a car in 15 years but I was looking for a new Colorado and I knew exactly what I wanted. I got on the Chevy website, emailed Mirak in Arlington and that's when I was forwarded to Jim Wheaton in sales. Jim is a straight up and honest guy who helped me get exactly what I wanted at a great price. When I went in to sign the papers there were no surprises and the experience was very positive. A few months after the purchase of my new vehicle I went in for the first service and I was impressed with their service department as well. It is truly first class. I can't tell you how easy Jim made the buying experience. I am more than pleased my Chevy and would definitely buy from Mirak again. Thank you Jim! I am loving my new 2016 Colorado. :)

Mirak service is in the business of convincing people to do work that doesn't need to be done... I took my Traverse in for warranty work and and a recall job, everything was under warranty as my car was new with only 29,000 miles on. The service guy, Chris, informed me that I "needed brakes" -- assuming I just needed pads I agreed and then they told me it would cost about 1000 dollars, I had to ask them exactly what they were doing and it turns out they were also replacing rotors. I asked over and over again, why the rotors would need to be replaced especially after just one set of pads and the answer I kept getting was they could try to get me better deal with after market parts. I hoped for the best but agreed to just do the front and asked if I could keep the old parts. I took the old rotors to mechanics that I know and they explained that the rotors were fine with barely any lip on them and no gouges, the pads could have been used a little longer as well so there were no issues with the pads gouging the rotors... So it appears that these guys are in the business of convincing people to do work that doesn't need to be done... Hello John, my name is Dave Penney and I am the service Manager here at Mirak Chevrolet. We strive to provide excellent service for all of our customers and I apologize if you feel we missed that mark. The rotors are made thinner nowadays to increase MPG, and we want to make sure they are safe. When they are thin, they get hotter, worn and warped. Please understand that by GM safety standards your rotors were too thin. We also offered to replace the pads while there to save you labor in the future as they were getting close to needing replacement. We are still happy to work with you on pricing and labor; if you would like to speak more please contact me at (781) 897-0502. Sincerely, Dave Penney, Service Manager, Mirak Chevrolet

1. The price is higher than other dealer. 2. Instead of helping to solve the problem, the selling man only cares about asking me to pay money. He was very outstanding for the store, but for the consumer. 3. I can not get any helpful suggestion. 4. It is my second time to visit this store, while it would be last one. For the first time, I extremely doubt that there is no need to change the battery of my car. However my car is out of power and be tolled to the store, I have no choice. For the second time, the diagnose is totally useless. The sell man even asked me to pay money for such kind of useless diagnosis, and told me that it was one-hour labor. Seriously, since I went into the shop, the totally time is less than one hour. In addition, the 'diagnosis' is 'you can pay 300 dollars to fix A, while you may need pay extra money for other problems'. I am a engineer, and I know that make a diagnosis in a complex system is not an easy task. That is why I should pay money for it. However, ``diagnosis" does not mean that plug in the computer and tell me the computer output. A basic requirement for diagnosis is 'clear'. For example, if you think there maybe two reasons, then fix one first (e.g. change to an good one), and diagnosis the other one. If the problem solved, then you know my problem. That is what I should pay the money for one hour labor. In addition, collect information from your consumers, and collect any pre-condition, and at last make your judgement according to your experience. That is called "diagnosis". Similar thing in computer engineering was called 'debug', it takes time and needs experience. It is basic rule to leave one variable during the diagnosis. Hence, please beprofessional. If you can only use a computer to check the error code, I can do it by using a error code reader from Amazon, only 20 dollars. In summary, my experience was totally bad!. If you still can drive your car, drive it away and find a better place.

Hello Dayong, my name is Alan Wuorinen and I am the Service Manager here at Mirak Chevrolet. I am sorry to see that you feel you had a bad experience at our dealership. Please understand that after performing your scan, we found that aftermarket camshaft actuator solenoid valves were installed on your vehicle by a 3rd party. These valves were directly related to the codes displayed by our scan. As you suggest, we followed our diagnosis flow chart procedure and this would be the first link in the chain to be replaced before additional attempts are made to repair other items. We were happy to provide you with this honest diagnosis as well as even waive your diagnostic fee, and if you do wish to proceed with repairs or have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me at 781-641-6890. Sincerely, Alan Wuorinen, Service Manager, Mirak Chevrolet

I have two Chevy's and one in which I bought here and the other I wish I bought here, I am trading in my older one and they have been nothing but helpful taking account my budget and what I have to spend now and monthly toward a car but they always put my in something new and I love. The Cruze that I drive now is awesome and anytime she needs a checkup they are awesome in their service department as well making sure I never get over priced on maintenance. I recommend them to anyone!!!

Purchased a used Suburban and received excellent service. It was a low hassle positive experience. Our salesman, Jim Wheaton, went above and beyond. He is the best car salesperson I've ever worked with. I will recommend him and the dealership to all friends looking to purchase a car.
