Be careful who you choose to polish your travertine floors. Remember, every company has their own different methods for polishing floors. Here we have a travertine floor that has been recently polished by a different company. It looks good but the shine looks blurry with not that much of clarity. We polish it again with our diamond pad and our unique polishing powder making this floor look almost like a mirror. #travertinecleaning #travertinepolishing www.miradorstoneworks.com

This marble countertop was well taken care of over the years but during the years of cleaning and usage, the shine of the marble started to wear out. We grind, polish, and seal this marble countertop making it look almost brand new again. #marblecleaning #marblepolishing www.miradorstoneworks.com

The customer didn’t like the polished marble since it was getting etched. We came and honed the marble. While the marble was being honed, it became more durable because the etch marks will not show. It’s still a beautiful marble stone with the honed finish.

This marble was covered with wax. Waxing a natural stone is a bad solution for polishing and also can become more expensive to restore since it requires the process to remove the wax before performing the restoration of the marble. #marblecleaning #marblepolishing www.miradorstoneworks.com

This travertine floor was covered with wax and had many scratches. The scratches were from the wax on the floor, not from the actual stone. We had to strip this travertine floor in order to do the proper restoration. After we polished the travertine, the customer couldn’t believe the difference. #travertinecleaning #travertinepolishing www.miradorstoneworks.com

The cleaning lady used some chemicals to clean this marble vanity and ended up etching the stone. Be careful what’s being used for cleaning polished natural stones. With water and few drops of mild soap, it can be used for general cleaning for natural stones.
