This handsome guy is Owen! By the time Owen was 3, he was diagnosed with Chronic Lung Disease, Asthma, Hydrocephalus, Gross Motor Delays, Febrile Seizures, and Spastic Cerebral Palsy. Despite all of this, Owen is an incredible little boy who has an amazing spirit! He loves Paw Patrol, baseball, Cops and holding his baby sister. When he grows up he wants to be a K-9 police officer that plays baseball! Owen needs surgery to release the spasticity in his legs. This surgery is only offered in St. Louis, Missouri, so off they flew on their 1st Miracle Flight! We’re so happy we could help this wonderful family get Owen the care he needs!

Big thanks to the Clark High School We R Community group, teacher Luanne Wagner, and Councilwoman Lois Tarkanian! These future philanthropists awarded Miracle Flights a grant to continue to fly sick children to the medical care they need. We are so honored to be part of your community <3

Thanks to the combined efforts of World Pediatric Project (WPP) and Miracle Flights, thousands more Eastern Caribbean children will receive life-saving surgeries and procedures. A new dedicated WPP operating theatre at St. Vincent—Milton Cato Memorial Hospital will provide a state-of-the-art pediatric surgical facility to treat even more children. In part, this is accomplished by WPP and Miracle Flights partnership to double the number of pediatric specialist teams traveling to Saint Vincent—from 17-34. This increase in medical teams will result in an estimated 1,800-2,000 children receiving care annually by 2023.

"With every other possible diagnosis we had come across, there were others. There were support groups, message boards, books, blog posts, articles, Facebook groups, and studies. But with this, we were alone. There was no “What to Expect” book. There was no other parent to contact. There is no doctor who specializes in it. It’s just us. We are alone. Completely alone." http://ow.ly/ILYQ30bDLJY

"But my daughter like me sensed your beauty. Instead of yelling 'no!' she did something amazing. She leaned in and hugged you back." http://ow.ly/zwgh30bBEY2
