The Clubman is a special MINI model because it has a longer wheelbase and body. The Clubman is also equipped some rather peculiar doors at the back. Probably the most anticipated debut scheduled for this year from MINI, the Clubman was just caught with its doors open. Our team of dedicated carparazzi caught it around one of BMW’s testing facilities with the driver out and about it, trying to fit a travel case in the back. This was the perfect opportunity to see the trademark doors in action.

In January 2004, Sewell made its first move into rapidly growing Collin County. The location, which is perched on a rise on the west side of Dallas Parkway, has extremely high visibility. This former Sewell HUMMER Saab dealership was converted to a MINI franchise in April 2011. The store has a unique personality befitting its clientele- complete with a MINI suspended from the ceiling and a fully stocked video arcade.

The service department here is top-notch. It's always clean, and I'm always greeted right away. Everyone treats me like I'm a valued customer, but it's more than that. They are efficient, and they communicate well with me when they have serviced my MINI. The loaner cars are great, giving me the opportunity to experience features in a newer model. All of this has prompted my wife to shop here for her new car. She's switching to MINI.

I usually don't bother with these reviews but as I continue to see Sewell tout its amazing customer service and attention to detail, I have become that much more irritated. Many years ago, my now wife was in the market for a new Lexus and contacted Sewell after hearing about everything they claim to do to make a "Customer for Life". Without going into a ton of detail, Sewell tried to overcharge her and lock her into an unfavorable time table for the same vehicle offered by multiple dealers. She ended up getting the vehicle from Park Place and over the years has leased an additional two Lexus vehicles from Park Place. That bit of a back story brings us to our current date. This year, I was diagnosed with cancer and began chemotherapy. I owned a 2014 high end Chevrolet Silverado but with the high price of chemotherapy and medical bills, I was in the market to downsize and find something more fuel efficient. I have always liked the look of the MINI Countryman and even though my wife had a negative experience with Sewell, I decided to give them a shot a few months ago. I went to the MINI dealership in Plano for a test drive and to let the Pre-Owned sales people know I was in the market for a vehicle. I really enjoyed driving the vehicle and was ready to buy. The salesman I was dealing with introduced me to the general manager and they both promised me that they would find me the vehicle I was looking for in short order. After a couple of weeks of no contact from the salesman, I contacted him to see if he had made any progress in finding a vehicle. He told me he was sorry for not contacting me sooner and that he had not found anything to that point. He told me he would keep looking and that I should hear from him soon. To this day, I have never heard a word from Sewell MINI of Plano. Being a salesman myself, I knew that with the lack of communication and follow up, Sewell had no interest in making me a "Customer for Life". I'm sure if I wanted to purchase a new, luxury vehicle they would have fallen all over themselves to make something happen but not for a guy looking to downsize and save a little money. I did find a 2014 Countryman at another dealership in the Dallas area and am very pleased with my purchase. Its sad to see so many big companies these days tout their amazing customer service and do absolutely nothing to back it up. Moving forward, Sewell will not be in my list of companies to do business with and I will make sure to let my friends and family know that Sewell is a lot of talk without much to back it up.

The young men and women here are exceptional in every sense of the word. I am not in the best health and one young man, Grant, was very thoughtful and went above and beyond and delivered my car to me when it was finished and surprised me with a gift as well. His care and consideration moved my wife and I to tears. Thank you Sewell Mini for all that you do. You made this old man very happy.

Well it happened AGAIN!!! I am in another New MINI. I stopped into MINI of Plano this past Saturday to check out the New MINI JCW Hardtop because they actually had a couple on their lot. Really had no intention of leaving with one, but working with my MA Hunter Fowlkes, seeing the Dealership, and meeting others on staff there, I was impressed. I purchased three of my previous MINIs from another DFW MINI Dealership, and praise them and my MA highly. Although, my MINI of Plano experience has set an even higher bar. Their inventory is incredible, I imagine you would never have to special order unless you truly wanted something configured in such a special way. The amenities offered at MINI of Plano far exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, and you'll want for nothing if you decide to wait during any services or add-ons. My MA, Hunter, was so great to work with. He made me feel special and was very attentive. He listened to me rattle off all my MINI experiences that we all share. Also, he actually has a MINI, shouldn't this be a prerequisite? I am not sure what else to say here to get you to visit MINI of Plano if you are interested in a MINI, or looking for an incredible experience at a MINI Dealership. MOTOR ON!!! MTTS 2016!!!

By far the best ever experienced I've had at a dealership. Before this weekend the thought of entering a dealership was intimidating and stressful. I've purchase 5 vehicles throughout the years and have never felt this satisfied and this pleased with the services I was giving. I've had really bad ones and ok ones, but Mini of Plano gave extraordinary service. Not once did I feel pressured nor intimidated by any of the sales staff. Both the dealership and our sales rep set the bar extremely high when came it to customer service. We got a walk through of the whole dealership first, which I must say is a fun and accommodating place. They grabbed us coffee and snacks but most all they listened to what we wanted, what our concerns were and what are limit was. They didn't try to upgrade us or try to make us look at other options, they only worked on what we wanted and focused on trying to make it happen. They said we were like family and it sure felt like it. Our rep Shery was AMAZING, she made us feel comfortable and at ease and most importantly she listened. She offered to go buy us lunched while we waited!! When the first offer came I was amazed by how they exceeded my expectations. I was more than satisfied. In most of my experiences this part can be daunting. We purchased an affordable pre-owned vehicle but we got treated like we purchased the most expensive car on the lot. That is going above and beyond for your customer. That is what customer service should be like everywhere. I couldn't praise them enough. David was extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and very informative. The Josh in sales was the first one to reach out the night before out of all the 4 dealerships I I inquired about. He was also the only one to follow up in the morning about our visit. Great job! You guys will be my first and only recommendation when it comes to buying a vehicle. Thank you again for the excellent service, you made unforgettable experience and we appreciate it. Happy Mini owners here! =-)

Stopped by today to get oil changed and car checked for the 30k check even though I'm at 40k. Had a great time lol. Everybody was nice, little forced but ehh they had great free coffee while I waited. Was happy to help and explain everything to me. They earn some repeat business today. :) Got to play with all the mini cooper stuff and a few cars. Even though I explained wasn't there to buy I asked if I could look at a pre-owned the salesman John Regan was happy to help me out for a few minutes, kind of rare hu? If you need a car ask this guy! Thanks!
