The Countryman got a MINI makeover for the Geneva this year! http://ow.ly/JVBwj
The lifted and recently facelifted four-door Mini—the Countryman—comes to Geneva in slightly zooty “Park Lane” attire. Named after a street just east of London’s Hyde Park, the moniker evokes expensive hotels and residences. But rather than charge you a few hundred pounds per night to stay in it, the Park Lane is set apart from lesser […]

In January 2004, Sewell made its first move into rapidly growing Collin County. The location, which is perched on a rise on the west side of Dallas Parkway, has extremely high visibility. This former Sewell HUMMER Saab dealership was converted to a MINI franchise in April 2011. The store has a unique personality befitting its clientele- complete with a MINI suspended from the ceiling and a fully stocked video arcade.

I love my Mini. Everyone went above and beyond. Thank you for going the extra mile. I applaud your dedication, professionalism and commitment to excellent customer service. Amazing sales staff! The best service center in town! Also, the best parts department too. Best car buying experience I've ever had! I'm a Sewell customer for life! Thank you again for everything.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! (and that's no shill or paid-for-opinion.) I wouldn't have bought my 2nd Mini if it were not for the service backup of Clint Fox and Josh the service manager. I had checked out Sewell MoP multiple times before giving them all of my Mini business through Mini car club groups in Dallas. They came out solid but still I couldn't believe until I experienced it myself. Recently had an unfortunate accident with my prize JCW Mini in California. I was so impressed and confident with the service level given to my two Mini Coopers from the last 2 years, I actually drove the damaged JCW 1500 miles back from California to Dallas just to have Clint and his body team headed by Brian Carlock at Sewell Collision work in restoring the JCW because I knew that would get it right and I wouldn't have to worry. Plus I had some additional service warranty work done. It was a huge job. My JCW Mini was out for a month. When I got the Mini back: MY JCW LOOKED BETTER AND RUNS BETTER THAN WHEN I BOUGHT IT. Typically I'm not a fan of dealers handling body and engine work, but these guys are an exception. Plus it's a fun place to hang out while you wait for your car. Very cool. They deserve the 5 stars.

From start to finish this dealership has gone above and beyond to make the experience fantastic. It's truly a unique experience buying a car from this group of people. Honesty and integrity are two things not often associated with car sales, but they have it in leaps and bounds here at MINI of Plano. When I first walked in the focus was on what I was looking for, what I needed out of my vehicle, and what the best option to fit me would be. They were considerate of all of my concerns, answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond to ensure I had enough information to be confident in my purchase. When it comes to the service team and confidence in their ability to work on and maintain my vehicle, I have zero fears there. All of the staff seems competent and knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. They're able to answer questions, and work as a team to make sure that my questions are answered correctly and as quickly as they can. My wife didn't even buy her mini from them, and they've gone out of their way to help her look over the paperwork for her purchase and ensure that she got a good deal and that her car is in the promised condition the dealership she bought it from claimed. We found out that her car, despite it being purchased from another dealership, was originally bought at Mini of Plano and all of the previous service was done there. Considering the condition her vehicle is in now, that just added another layer of confidence in our purchase. If you're looking for a vehicle, and you want to make sure your purchase is worth every penny, that your concerns and questions will be addressed, and that you will be taken care of before and after the vehicle is purchased, this is your dealership. Look no further.

Kudos! to Brandon Martin parts department. We have exchanged some emails at various times within the last 9 months. The part I needed was a short block engine and prices for a used one varied. There engine was priced better than anyone I researched and believe me I did my research. They even had a discounted price if you were a NAM member, local dealers in Houston could not of matched that price. he answered all my questions and replied in a timely manner. Good Job!! Jred71

I have been getting my MINI serviced at Sewell since 2012. I bought a new 2015 MINI last fall and I continue to have it serviced at Sewell. Buying my car at Sewell from Mike Levy was SO easy. He guided me through every possibility and helped me build my perfect MINI. I LOVE my service advisor, Brandon. He takes good care of me every time I'm in. I trust his advice implicitly. In addition to the great relationships I've formed, I can always count on a fun to drive loan car. If I need to wait for the car there, the amenities are amazing and the service is prompt. I LOVE getting my car serviced at Sewell.

I live close to a MINI dealership in Dallas, but the MINI of Plano is where my MINI is always and forever at home when it's time for maintenance. You can tell a lot about a service department when you actually have to pay for things outside of the warranty, and I believe that upon every visit that I have made to this service department, whether under warranty or not, or even just for a simple car wash, this department is beyond five star. Thank you Charles, Clint, Leena & Brandon for your clear communication, positivity and sincerity. On all my various visits, you all have made my continued ownership of my MINI very pleasant and hassle free. Even Sheri has a happy and helpful demeanor upon check out! You all are the very best service team! I also am glad you also offer hot cocoa for non-coffee drinkers!

My experience with MINI of Plano has been nothing short of fantastic, so far. I've come to expect excellent service from MINI dealerships, in general, but my salesperson this time around, Ben Anderson, went WAY above and beyond. First, I've never been in and out of a dealership as fast as I was here. I came in, took a test drive, and left with the car (paperwork all completed), in just over an hour, which is absolute record time for me. Ben went further than any salesperson I've ever met to make the process convenient for me, even going so far as to offer to stop by my house for an additional signature that was needed, rather than making us come to the dealership. I would highly recommend MINI of Plano for anyone looking for a great experience!

This will be a long review. My wife and I found MINI of Plano on the web; we do not live anywhere near Plano, but she saw a picture of a Copper that fit her specifications at this location and so we E-mailed the salesman and made the long drive to the dealership dreading yet another car-buying experience. We initially entered the wrong section of the complex, New Cars, whereas the MINI we sought was a Pre-Owned vehicle. The gentleman (I wish now that I had gotten his name) who greeted us at the door informed us of our mistake and then, knowing we were in the market for a used car and would therefore not be interacting with him IN ANY capacity for the remainder of our business with Sewell, nevertheless offered us coffee, latte's, hot chocolate before we left because it was a rather chilly day, and was even willing to provide us a ride across the lot to our correct destination to keep us out of the cold. We hadn't even made it through the correct door yet and we were already impressed. After reaching Pre-Owned, we were met by Drew Perez who took us immediately to the vehicle about which we had inquired without being reminded, showing us he had been prepared for us to arrive and knew who we were and what we we looking for. After a test drive of the car, we were escorted through the offices where we met several players, including Mike from Finance and the head of Maintenance. We sat down and engaged in some "creative negotiation." I will not go into detail here, but it is sufficient to say that this was not your typical HIGH BALL vs LOW BALL type of encounter. We were served pizza and soda while we discussed the car, played a game of Air Hockey against one of the employees on his birthday, and chit-chatted with the guys in the office next door, before heading over to Maintenance where we played video games during our brief wait as they dealt with another customer. It gets better: we were blown away by the service offered to EVERY Sewell customer: Free car washes, personalized one-on-one service from people who are knowledgeable about your concerns and history; non-location specific service (buy your car in Plano, get the same vehicle service in Odessa). This was, without a doubt, the absolute best case scenario for car buying I can envision. Every second of my time spent in that dealership was pleasurable and stress free. I cannot say enough about the Sewell Group of Texas. My ONLY negative comes as an afterthought to the actual purchase. We received our license plates in the mail the other day, but realized we do not have a bracket on the front of the vehicle to mount it. We drove to a Sewell dealer that is MUCH closer to our home (Sewell Lexus in Fort Worth). We drove up, expecting the kind of service that we had witnessed others receiving at the Plano dealership, only to be told by the guy out front that they don't have the bracket and they can't do anything for us. Essentially, we were told to turn our non-Lexus around and get out of the parking lot. We called Plano to see if we could get a bracket sent to us to do it ourselves. Their response: Absolutely not! Instead, he offered to have a tech drive down to our house to install it if he couldn't get the local shop guys to get on board when he sent it to them. These guys are awesome! Bottom line, while I am optimistic that our singular experience in FW was a fluke and ALL Sewell dealerships are wonderful, there is NO QUESTION that Sewell MINI of Plano is the absolute BEST place to purchase a vehicle. I didn't even want a MINI for myself before my wife bought one, but I am seriously considering one as my next vehicle just so I can deal with these guys the next time I buy a car. 5 STARS
