Free fall from space you say? Hell yes...

Freelance web design is not just about making pretty websites, it's about conveying the point that you want to make in the easiest way possible.
To few people realise the benefit in great usability.

Usability is knowing what that button does with out having to solve an IQ test along the way. Usability is about information being correctly laid out and easily accessible, whether this is to the average user or to a user who may be impaired in some way.

So when you have that new website built, make sure you take in to account those people who may need that little extra help.

Early finish today to watch the Olympic BMXing on the good ol' BBC.
Hopefully with a few beers!

Microsoft have announced that upgrades to Windows 8 are to be $39.99 for all XP/Vista/7 users. This is to be for 131 of Microsoft's territories and i'd imagine it'd be highly unlikely for the UK not to be one of those.

The offer will be time limited till the end of January and it also includes those who have already upgraded their OS to the release preview of Windows 8.

Of course it remains to be seen what $39.99 equates to in £'s but my guess is probably £39.99 ;)
