3 or 4 Ideas to Help 1Billion+ People <10 Years
I am quite absorbed by some of the best ideas of mine:

Halfmakery — a crowd-funding platform with monetized comments at any level of task hierarchy, the task integration with project management systems, and the integration of projects into stock markets, so a project have two ways of getting financed — (1) via donation or sale of its stock via a direct comment on any of its pages, (2) via stock market of projects and tasks. The special freedom this would allow for the stock market investor to decide which task of the project to invest. [Expected value — lots of projects realized.] [ I know how to do it. Need little resources. ]

3D Study Maze — a special educational computer-game platform with “adlocks” (adlock=problem+money+submission form+correctness check http://www.halfbakery.com/idea/AdLock ), making it easy for teachers to design virtual rooms and tunnels between them, and adding problems on the doors inside the tunnels between the rooms, forming a 3D web of rooms. Each university and teacher would be able to host his/her web, which would be accessible through the incoming tunnels from other courses — the prerequisite courses. [Expected value — lots of capable problem solvers cheaply created, and lots of problems playfully solved. Lots of people given income.] [ I know how to do it. Need moderate amount of resources. ]

Death-Preventing Health Recommendation System — a system that, based on statistical data and your profile, suggests what are the most likely causes of your death, and recommending medical tests for prevention of the most risky causes based on the probability of death from a cause, and the prices of medical tests available in world-wide service suppliers, and potential travel costs. [ I know how to do it. ] [ Need very little resources. ]

There is one idea that is not mine, and seems even greater:

Ethereum — a decentralized publishing platform featuring stateful user-created digital contracts and a Turing-complete contract programming language. In long term, perhaps greater than all of the 3 ideas above :).

What should I focus on? Well, next week, I will try to make rough estimates about the value of these three ideas, based on the methodology outlined in the previous blogpost on my blog http://blog.mindey.com .

Reminder: one of the greatest ideas of our time, were the transistor and integrated circuit technologies. They are really the basic building blocks for all of these things mentioned above. How we use them, however, depends on our creativity.

Useful, if you want to watch a long movie on a tablet while in bed.
Open the photo to see the details. It's called "Gooseneck Holder" / "Rotary Floating tablet"

Very useful, if you look for resources to work on an idea.

Time for another Abundance Espresso Shot! Every organization requires capital to run, and in this video, I discuss raising money. Next week, I'll continue to discuss this topic.

Brain process social pain differently than physical pain

Studies have shown that brain responds to social pain or rejection using the same circuitry that encodes physical pain. However, a new study published in journal Nature communications has identified distinct fMRI patterns unique to pain and rejection. They found that both physical pain and rejection activated the same brain areas, but induced different patterns of activity and have distinct neural representations within those areas.

Useful, if you are writing for the public, and want to make sure that you choose the words that are the most likely to be understood by everyone.
