One "snap" to rule them all! Universal packages for any Linux distros! How cool! #snap #ubuntu #linux
Developers from multiple Linux distributions and companies today announced collaboration on the “snap” universal Linux package format, enabling a single binary package to work perfectly and securely on any Linux desktop, server, cloud or device. This community is working at snapcraft.io to provide a single publication mechanism for any software in any Linux environment. This [...]

"SDN has evolved into the most effective of buzzwords: a portmanteau so devoid of meaning you begin to question your own understanding of the problem", really well said.
This post is the first in a series detailing the evolution of network software at Fastly. We’re unique amongst our peers in that from inception, we’ve always viewed networking as an integral part of our product rather than a cost center. We rarely share what we do with the wider networking community however, in part because we borrow far more from classic systems theory than contemporary networking practice.

I was just looking to buy a NAS: "Snaps on NAS" http://insights.ubuntu.com/?p=44443 #ubuntu #qnap
QNAP selects snaps and Ubuntu to bring IOT apps to its NAS On Friday QNAP announced that they were adopting snaps as the application format of choice for their NAS going forward. Behind this decision are two factors, the ease of development of snaps and the universality of snaps, especially to create IoT applications. NAS [...]

Really lovely place, good food and service, a little bit pricy but overall a very pleasant atmosphere. Place can get very crowded and noisy, it is not a romantic place if you are looking for one.

Sushi is not bad at all, the soups are big, hot and fresh. Maybe a little bit overpriced. A good experience.

Good hotel, a little bit outside the city center, but comfortable and clean bedrooms. Breakfast is standard, but if you arrive late you might not find a lot left.
