Already some days old, but couldn't get to read it until today. Would like to see more comparison with PyPy.

My wife +Irene Au gave the opening keynote at the recent IA Summit Conference in San Diego.  (The IA Summit is the Information Architecture Summit, not (as we joked) the Irene Au Summit, though in my humble opinion she stole the show.  More info here:  http://2014.iasummit.org/)

The notes are posted below, and it's a fascinating read (although it can't capture the passion of her delivery and the great Q&A session that followed.)

Sushi is not bad at all, the soups are big, hot and fresh. Maybe a little bit overpriced. A good experience.

Good hotel, a little bit outside the city center, but comfortable and clean bedrooms. Breakfast is standard, but if you arrive late you might not find a lot left.

Really lovely place, good food and service, a little bit pricy but overall a very pleasant atmosphere. Place can get very crowded and noisy, it is not a romantic place if you are looking for one.

The food is absolutely wonderful, service is a little bit slow, but that does not mean it is bad, since you will enjoy it better
