Interesting development in post-trial clemency matters.

Investigators should approach a case without bias -- or as psychologists would say, confirmation bias.  But I'm not clear that's happening in the military either.

Impeachment evidence showing a motive to fabricate can be just as important to an accused's right to a fair trial as that used substantively. Abrams, 50 M.J. at 364.
