After test pilot Bill Weaver crashed, he thought he had died. It turns out he was falling from the edge of outer space, after his SR-71 Blackbird spy plane had disintegrated at 79,000 feet. From: PLANES THAT CHANGED THE WORLD: SR-71 Blackbird --- http://bit.ly/1gMS1D7

The Marine Corps decided that for me..   I became a TACParty operator as an 18 year old PFC in 1968.. We didn't have GPS and aircraft couldn't home in on our radio transmissions to locate our position.  I enjoyed what I was doing but at times it could be very stressful..

yea the same corruption always happens, why do you think our troops in the us still use the m16..
the idea that most of the men in wellington's army were recruits is most likely accurate. the officers and other leaders however were not. as for the budgets being stretched, well the same rule applies to the us today as it did to england then, if you cant pay for the war don't start one or you are likely to lose. that is not a new idea as it was put to paper about 3500 years ago by a guy named sun tzu.

+TokioHotelFan943: Blessings for your desires to enlist and train, then graduate of which time you become a Marine. Boots/Recruits are not privileged to hold the title until the recruit complete 12 weeks of training, a total of three (3) phases of training by platoon, then attends his/her graduation and is then given the title after dismissed at the end of graduation ceremony. Best of luck.

They are the Islamic State group's elite shock troops. Fanatical and disciplined, they infiltrate cities of Iraq and Syria, unleash mayhem and fight to the death, wearing explosives belts to blow themselves up among their opponents if they face defeat.
