I don't know how but I appear to be going through filament at an exponential rate. 6 months ago I finished my first whole spool (I had a few loose rolls before that but I realised how bad loose is)

+Claas Kuhnen I haven't had any jams while printing with a loose roll but I've had one come close because the filament was crossed. The main issue with loose rolls is that I can't put it on my lazy susan, so I'm constantly freeing up slack every 5-10 minutes. I'm not a huge fan of DiamondAge's cardboard spools but they work well and their PLA is nice, so I can't see myself stopping any time soon.

Attention World, I need your help! These are the developed photos from the roll of film I discovered in the Box Brownie I was given while working at Midland Camera House. Please share this post, like the page, tell people about the story and make it known that these photos want to get home to the person who took them.

About 9 months ago, when I was working at Midland Camera House, I was given a Box Brownie by a kind lady who no longer wanted it. Recently, to my surprise, I discovered there was an exposed roll of film inside and quickly proceeded to develop it.
Now I wish to return these long-forgotten shots to the person who took them, so I need your help. Please show and share this post to as many people possible. With enough coverage, we can surely find the owner and complete the longest post-in development service in the history of photography.

If you set up Astroprint on a Raspberry Pi, can you have a screen attached to it for use as a direct controller? Like a fancy version of those 4x20 LCDs?

+Noe Ruiz Excellent! That sounds like exactly what I need. Now to order the parts I'll require and start designing some enclosures.

On a recent trip to Coral Bay, Western Australia, I brought along a $5 underwater camera that I purchased from an op shop (thrift store). This was shot on Ilford Delta 3200, pulled to 1600 and stood out as my favourite shot on the reef.

About halfway between Coral Bay and Karijini we came across a small butte that we were able to climb up. My friend can be seen watching a cloud that was seeded from a small fire we passed along the way.

Such a great song. Such an unsettling video.
Love it!

+Noe Ruiz, I've been using a PrintinZ build plate for just over a month now and it's great but sometimes there's some excessive adhesion. I notice you use a small metal spatula thing and was just wondering exactly what that is because it seems super handy.

+Miles Flavel Hi Miles, You can sand it lightly to get off any stuck on filament. Try using the spatula or a sharpened putty knife to skim off any heavy stuff first, then sand. Try to sand evenly so you don't create a low spot. The plate is not coated - it has a special resin that creates the adhesion and you aren't going to sand it off. Let me know if you have any other questions. Glad to help. (Thanks for you help too +Noe Ruiz )

A termite mound at Karijini national park in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Unfortunately cloud and a full moon meant I could only get a 30 minute exposure but I'm happy with the end result.

I really like this sort of filament analysis. It's got all the information you need to establish exactly how you might want to use it. That milk jug example immediately gave me an idea of what it's like and how I might use it.
Please stock this filament (3mm if possible) but more importantly make some more videos like this if you get the chance.
Happy Holidays Adafruit :)
