I'm having an exhibition, and this is it...
by Miko Coffey. Monday 11th November - Friday 6th December Private View: Friday 15th November, 6:00pm. Sunday Talk: Sunday 17th November, 3:00pm. This project is about giving up control. It's about stepping outside of my photographic comfort zone, pushing myself into the unknown.

Instead of presents, this birthday / Xmas I want peeps to give to charity... I made a little place where you can sign up and send your friends/family too (if you're so inclined):

Hey coder geeks: help needed pls...
Due to the limitations of a CMS I need to be able to load an external html (box.html) file into a web page (parent page in CMS), which the old-skool me would have used iframe but this has a prob with caching (and generally being retro as you know). I am sure there's a nicer way to do this with jQuery but I'm no expert. Help gratefully received in exchange for beer ;-)

I've written a post comparing easy Facebook app & page builder tools on me olde blogge
Which of the easy & cheap app builders is right for the job? Pagemodo, Involver, Wildfire, NorthSocial or Booshaka - each has their strengths & uses.

Innovative Indian flavours with personality - not your typical "Brindian". The mackerel starter is a standout dish; every subtle seasoning & spice is perfectly balanced. Also worth a mention is the dhal, definitely a bit different from your local takeaway, with great texture and warmth. Try it with the chickpea pancake (yum). Left with happy tummy & no heavy feeling after. I'll be back.

Very good service. Optometrist was patient with my ageing eyes that need longer to focus and didn't rush the test. Advice was not sales-y at all as she said my prescription change was so minor I didn't need new glasses unless I really wanted them. Good prices, especially with the free eye test voucher. Overall very pleased every time I've been here.

My family is from Kyushu so I have a soft spot in my heart for Japanese curry, tori kara age and ramen. My meal at Nanban did not disappoint. The kara age was one of the best I've tasted outside of Japan, and the curry with cheese was the perfect warming dish for a rainy autumn night. My friends had the burger which was amazing, as was the eel and the Shochu tasting flight. Slightly chaotic service, but you can forgive that because the food was perfectly executed. I look forward to trying the ramen next time.

Went for an eye test thinking my very mild prescription might need a minor tweak. Test was the quickest I've ever had and in the end the guy recommended varifocals, then passed me on to the salesperson who gave a massive hard sell trying to push expensive lenses. Went to Specsavers the next week and the test showed what I expected: no varifocals needed, and only slight change to my previous prescription. Optometrist there said I didn't really need to get new glasses as the change was so minor. Extremely disappointed with Real Eyes!
