Hey folks, I'm curious. Is there a existing "data" dump of the OSRIC monsters and spells (with descriptions)? I'm thinking of writing an importer to be able to load the creatures into Fantasy Grounds so others can use them with the Ruleset I'm writing (AD&D Core).

I looked at the older OSRIC ruleset/modules thinking I could just import the data from those but seems those are missing a lot. There were only about 20-30 creatures in the data I found.

XML would make it easy to finger the data, get it in the right format and push into a FG module file.

I found a few spread sheets that had data but they did not include the pertinent description data.

Really hoping I can avoid a copy/paste from PDF method ;)

Lost City of Barakus question...

Level 4A and Level 4B, room 1 both claim that the entrance to these are gained from 3A-15.

Which is it?

Level 4A:
The sloping passage from Area 3A-15 terminates in a large rectangular chamber.

Level 4B:
The sloping passage from Area 3A-15 terminates in a large, 100ft by 75ft rectangular chamber.

Does the tunnel from 3A-15 fork at some point?

Version 3.0 of the AD&D Framework for Maptools.

This framework was built with the idea of making a AD&D game simple to run for player and dm. It allows the PC to use the token as their character sheet and is easy enough for most users to maintain it. The DM tools allow for quick NPC initialization and tracking.

Just finished up the last of the online maps for my Lost City of Barakus game and thought I'd share them here.

Hopefully someone else will find them useful for their games as well.

Seeking additional player for my online AD&D (2e, core only) game. Bi-weekly game on Saturday at 8pm central till 11pm(ish). (next game is Feb. 13th) We use maptools (1.4.0) as our virtual table and TeamSpeak3 for voice chat. I've wrote an extensive framework in Maptools for our AD&D game that should make the experience fun/painless.

We've had one of our players get a new job and have to drop out of the game. To that end I'd like to find a replacement to fill his spot.

We're looking for a mature player that likes "old school" adventures. If you enjoyed 1e or 2e (specially 1e adventures) you'll probably fit well.

The campaign has recently started (levels 1-3 right now) so the new person won't have missed much.

The setting "genre" is much like Greyhawk. Using the "Lost Lands" (Necromancer Games) with my own lore of the world mildly influenced by "The Land" (Steven R. Donaldson).

Here a short list of the game/house rules.

I can assist with installing Teamspeak and java/Maptools if you need it tho I have a write up how to do it as well that might be all you need.

If you are interested please feel free to email me at uce_mike@yahoo.com and tell me a little bit about your game likes/dislikes.

Virtual Tabletop tool for AD&D.

If you use virtual tabletop to play AD&D you might consider using MapTool and the AD&D Framework I wrote.
