http://mikeveitchblog.com/story-behind-shot-dynamite-fishing/ This is my second “Story Behind the Shot” that talks about coral reef destruction by illegal fishing methods such as dynamite fishing (my first one is here, an encounter with a bomb that didn’t explode).
A Story Behind the Shot article that discusses the absolute devastation and waste of dynamite fishing and the consequences it has on coral and fish life

Underwater Photographer
Introduction
Nature photographer, travel writer, underwater photography instructor, and tour leader based in Indonesia.  I run the Bali School of Underwater Photography as well as land and underwater photography based expeditions throughout Bali and Indonesia.  I also run a company that specializes diving and adventure holidays for non-photographers as well.

Visit us at:  www.underwatertribe.com or follow our blog:  www.underwaterblog.wordpress.com

I have two photography workshops organized for 2013, spaces are still available:

Lembeh Strait 2013
Komodo National Park Liveaboard 2013

Every year we hold our photography workshop at NAD Lembeh Resort because we know we are getting the best service in North Sulawesi. Their 2 divers for every dive guide is unmatched and means our students will be always be looked after properly underwater as well as at the resort. With fast boats and efficient crews, we are able to spend the time we need at the resort helping people with their photography rather than spending it on a long ride back to the resort. The flexibility of management and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff keeps bringing us back year after year. Keep up the great work and see you again in a couple of months!
