The introverts guide to getting noticed. As artists and technologists, we're in our own world. We're a unique breed. We're creating, designing and dreaming. That's part of our DNA. It's what we do best. Interacting with other humans... not so much. For years I've been creating, but I haven't ...

Awesome audio resource:

Really high quality.  And it's interesting that you don't actually have to license/pay until your project ships.

Really cool.  I like Uframe, but are struggling with how to integrate existing assets.

Awesome Smash Bros analysis.
Common sense dictates that video games should be balanced. Of course they should be! Why wouldn't they? Well, it turns out there are actually some pretty cool things that can happen when a game isn't balanced. Disclaimer First, a disclaimer...

Check out Blubber Buster :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAyH90IgU-M&feature=share

It's an incredibly passionate project by a young up and coming Indie Development team called Thar Be Monsters.
Our game is heading towards a Fall KickStarter launch, and any support with getting our project more visibility would be amazing!

I've been serving as Technical Director and directly developing/building out the gameplay structure and logic.  With assistance from a few students Terry Nguyen( BuildMaster/Programmer) and Ai Tran(Technical Artist).

Our 2nd year students will be conducting a "Pitch Presentation" on Thursday (2/26/2015) @ 4:00 pm. This presentation is part of our curriculum, is open to the public, and will involve feedback from industry professionals...So stop by our campus on the 4th level of the Seattle Center Armory building Friday afternoon, and check it out!

When : 2/26/2015
Where : Seattle Center Armory (formerly the Center House) @ 305 Harrison St, Suite 405, Seattle, WA 98109

This is open to the public.   Each pitch will be 10 minutes followed by Q&A.  I would love an audience for my class to review, and perhaps offer creative, technical or marketing advice regarding the viability of each of our team's proposed game.

Really cool tip on how to design your character collider to more than a dumb physics object.  Interesting how Juicy Beast is acknowledging ledges and stopping character colliders hard when players let go of controls, as opposed to letting the the collider slide when away from the edge.
