Julian & Trena's Wedding 7/18/15 What happens when you mix a country boy and a city girl, you get a perfectly matched couple. Julian and Trena finally tied the knot on July 18th, 2015. There was a lot of bumps and turns to get here, but in the end with love for each other as well as their family and friends close by they made it through it.

Well I was asked if I wanted to assist a local MUA on a new project she had in the works. I've worked with Kristen Scott Makeup on several shoots prior to this and knew what to expect. She is a great MUA that knows what she's doing is does it well. I didn't hesitate to assist her as I really enjoy the creative projects. They allow you to branch out and do things a tad different then what is done. Her concept was to base her makeup on...

As a photographer myself I now have a better understanding of how its like to be in front of the camera instead of being behind it. It was a pleasure getting my head shot done with him today. He makes you feel at ease and his professionalism exudes to you as a client. I look forward to working with him again.

Decided to take my wife out for dinner and I was in the mood for some eastern european food that night, so I checked the reviews on the Blue Danube and they were pretty decent. When we went in the place looked like no one was in there. Wait staff (looked like the owners) turned the lights on and started playing music. Waitress was nice at the beginning. Took our order and we started off with fried perogies and battered broccoli & cauliflower. The perogies were nothing that stood out. More on the greasy side. The broccoli & cauliflower were very bland and no seasoning and was very mushy (like they have been frozen and than thawed out). After the appetizers my wfie got cabbage rolls and dumplings and I opted for the Hungarian goulash. The goulash was not that pleasant. There was nothing that made it stand out. The beef was tender and that was the only thing in the dish worth eating. In the kettle there was only 3 pieces of potatoe and maybe a half dozen or so pieces of celery. The flavor was bland. Did not taste the paprika. The meal tasted like a watered down version of beef stew (bad version at that) as there was no seasoning at all. On to the cabbage rolls with dumplings. My wife has a love for cabbage rolls but with this meal that might have turned her off. Not once have we ever come across a meal that is so revolting we wouldn't feed it to our dogs. The plate is brought out and there are 2 cabbage rolls and dumplings but the cabbage rolls were underneath this thick brown gravey mixture and the smell was not that pleasant.When she cut into the rolls the meat was slightly undercooked and she stopped right there since it was pork in it we didn't run the risk. The dumplings were cold and bland and very sticky (very glutinous). We stopped eating right then and there. We took the bill and wanted to pay and the waitress asked us how our meal was and my wife explained and she said "well maybe you're not used to european food" and we both were like "no we have eaten at many european restaurants..." and we also informed that I cook my grandma's recipies from Poland and Germany and nothing tastes like what we tasted that night. She then asks my wife what nationality she is and she advises that she's "Irish and English" and she said she was surprised as she said "you look Romani" and we are thinking as to why she said that she looked like she was a Gypsie. Needless to say we will not be venturing back to this place ever again, unless the show "Kitchen Nightmares" or "Restaurant Impossible" come in and spruce it back to life.
