Conversation Conductor, helping small business attract and connect with their customers by building a better business presence.
The Purpose: Help small businesses in building a better business presence online and offline with small steps leading to bigger results.

The Practice: Changes continue to happen quickly. Our services and products are designed to allow for small steps so changes can happen in stride. We attend to large projects with concise steps.

The Person: I believe in smiling eyes, firm handshakes and others first. I believe if you're in public, you've made yourself accessible . . . that we're all contagious and choose our own contagions . . . the wonder of curiosity, the potential of imagination and power of teamwork. I believe the decision of love precedes the feeling of love . . .of being child-like, but not childish. That unequal circumstances should not be treated equally . . . And there's always room for one more good one. I believe Mistakes are Tuition. #POTSC

If I Circle you one of two things are going on:
(either) - Thank you for making me smarter. At some level, what you share (or where you get it from) adds value to my life.
(or)  - Welcome to Google+, thanks for circling me. Hope I am to you what those above are to me. If it's only temporary - no prob - we had fun while it lasted

A few Suggested Circles: Here's a good start, but it's your choice
Bragging rights
There's Always Room for One More Good One - I work hard at paving the road so others may succeed. I count their successes as my own.

Trust Your Gut, Speak Your Mind

We did a lot of that in the conversation with +Brooke Ballard and +Mallie Hart on Ready, Set ... Podcast! #ThinkConversation
+Mike Sansone joined me, and +Brooke Ballard - of course, for a fantastic conversation about trusting your gut and taking the steps necessary to publish and share your ideas.

Mike believes that every business owner has ideas just waiting to be published, be it via blog, in a book, in a podcast, etc.

You just have to get past the fear of sharing and get it out there. This ties in quite well with Tuesday's blogging conversation with +Sarah Arrow.

What do you think?
Trust your gut and speak your mind, says Mike Sansone. There's always room for another good one, even in the saturated frenzy of content marketing.

Fifty Shades of Conversation

It once was a practice to experience something and then talk about it. Flock around the content, then talk about the content. Has conversation moved to the front of the line?
Everyone has a voice. It's easier to get your opinions heard or seen. Find out about a topic and then have conversations. Are we skipping the first step?

Art of the Start 2.0 - More Than a Reboot

A new book from +Guy Kawasaki launches today, and while the title may sound familiar, there is a lot of new material (64% more).  I believe every owner, freelancer, project leader, and side-hustler would benefit from reading it - and their world would change with applying the ideas from it.

One reason I'm touting The Art of the Start 2.0 to small business owners and solopreneurs is simple, yet important: Make Meaning and you might Make Money.

Nobody Ever Won an Election Without Asking for a Vote

If your customers and prospects don't know what's available, is it really an offering?  Unless someone knows about it, they aren't going to know about it.
Will your customers know what you're offering? Will your prospects know you're available? Nobody ever won an election without asking for a vote. Ask.

No-Flour Pancakes

My wife and I loved these this morning.  Two eggs, one banana, (I added a tbsp Flax Seed). We topped them with honey, but not much.

Quick, Healthy, Delicious.  No sugar, no syrup, no flour.
A quick and easy "pancake" made from just banana and eggs, for a naturally gluten-free, grain-free, and added-sugar-free treat.

WOW! These folks make everyone they greet each morning feel welcome and at home, greeting with a smile and using their first name. Fantastic energy and enthusiasm! I've only been coming to this location a short time (former Panera "home" at 6740 University in W Des Moines, IA, aka "Panera U"), yet they allow me to feel like I've been coming for years. Big thanks to Jill for leading the welcoming spirit! It's good to be home at Panera.
