Too much of womanhood -- from the food we eat to the clothes we wear to the way we spend our time -- is motivated by the word "no." We focus on what we should cut out rather than what we should embrace....

It's an ad stunt, but a touching one. Samsung arranges so that everyone a hearing-impaired man encounters knows sign language.
The tech brand orchestrates an elaborate stunt to promote its video conferencing service.

I came to Putnam Subaru looking to buy an Impreza or a Crosstrek. I did all pre-sales communication and negotiation with Kyle Holt and Avery Diamond via phone and email over just a handful of messages. They offered me a great deal, beating every other dealer I spoke with, and I took it. I had two concerns when coming in to complete the purchase: that they might try to adjust the deal, or that it would take a long time to complete the process (I had a tight deadline). Both concerns proved to be unfounded. Not only was Avery waiting for me with the newly washed and filled-up car when I got there, there were no gimmicks, everybody I spoke with was very friendly, and everyone was considerate of my time. I will definitely talk with Kyle and Avery if I need another Subaru.

My experience was very good. I had reserved the car a month ahead of time. On the day of the rental, after maybe 20 minutes in line and talking with a remote agent, I was sent off to get my car that was waiting for me. The car was fabulous and memorable. (Didn't hurt that it was brand new :)). Overall a great experience. Would definitely do it again. (The only downside was that I was doing a local rental, so I had to leave my car someplace. SFO only really supports long-term parking for this, and the only way to get from long-term parking to the rental office is via a shuttle to the airport and another one to the rental office, even though the two locations are near each other. This adds about 20 minutes overhead on both ends of the rental. Not a deal breaker, but definitely suboptimal. And to be clear, this is an SFO problem, not Hertz.)

Always very friendly. Good food. Almost always great service (just one exception when we got a server I hadn't seen before or since).
