The Seattle Seahawks went on the defensive when they drafted former Michigan defensive end Frank Clark, who was kicked off his college team after being arrested on charges of domestic violence last November. Facing criticism of the second-round selection, team executives claimed that they had conducted a thorough investigation into the incident, and determined that Clark did not in fact hit a woman. According to a devastating report from the Seat...

So, the seahawks should have just 'nocoment''d their way along.

I do believe that this sort of behavior is horrible, and that the sports teams (and leagues) continually taking this same tact is horrid. Letting the offendors (alleged!?) be dealt with by normal police procedures without 'special case, cause its the dude!' handling would make this a bunch better I think. That way the sports teams/leagues wouldn't have to say anything: "You should take this line of questioning up with the local PD, thnx!"

In the past year, Michelle Beadle has emerged as one of the most important and independent voices at ESPN. When First Take’s Stephen A. Smith suggested that battered women were guilty of provoking their assailants, it was Beadle who offered the most eloquent and vocal denunciation of Smith’s comments. A relative newcomer to boxing, Beadle joined the HBO Boxing team as a special correspondent for its popular sports magazine telecast, The Fight Gam...

We’ve written quite a lot about the perks and pitfalls of the peer review system, but one thing we never really touched on was the risk that a reviewer might be … well, not to put too fine a point on it: a dope. But Fiona Ingleby can speak to that. Ingleby, a postdoc in …

Wait....what???
Last night’s and tonight’s Orioles-White Sox games were postponed due to the ongoing unrest in Baltimore. Tomorrow’s game will be moved up to the afternoon—and closed to the public. It’s going to be weird as shit.

Journalists from the ARD and WDR, two of the biggest public broadcasting networks in Germany, were arrested and detained by the Qatari government while shooting a documentary about the corruption behind FIFA’s decision to award the 2022 World Cup to Qatar. According to the WDR’s account, the government erased data from electronic equipment, and didn’t allow the journalists to leave the country for days.

I'm shocked!
Which NFL team’s fans leave the dumbest comments online? In a shocking upset, the answer is something other than a 32-way tie.

The soup is a lie.
“Bone broth” is soup. It is soup and not some other, different thing. It is not new or fancy. It is not even a new kind of soup. It is soup. “Bone broth” and “soup” are synonyms.

I've been eating at China King restaurants for over 20 years. The hunan chicken is comfort food and never disappoints. That said, in 20 years I've never had anything else on the menu. It's cheap and exactly what you should expect for $5, but still tasty.

You get to make your own dish, so if it's bad, it's your fault :-) Lots of variety and quality ingredients. You don't really need the all-you-can-eat option, just pile it on and you will have more than enough to fill you up, even if you're really hungry.

Always very crowded because the food is good. Best to use their app to order online and just skip the line and pick-up to go. Not a lot of seating inside.

Lots of food for a reasonable price. We've only done take-out. The mac&cheese is very cheesy. The brisket and ribs are also both pretty good. They also have a large beer selection, which was unexpected but welcome.
