Ted Cruz, meet Timothy McVeigh. Tim, meet Ted.

Ted, meet the KKK. Klansmen, meet Ted.

You get the idea. Ted's in deep deep denial. As are most of the rest of the clown car crew.
He would allow Christian refugees from Syria into the U.S., but not Muslim ones

I'm shocked. This from a city whose sports fans threw batteries at baseball players and snowballs at Santa.
HitchBOT interacted with humans through speech, tested "whether robots could trust" us.

Former Star Trek star William Shatner has made a slew of Trek documentaries in recent years, so when I saw he had a new one about the first few years of Star Trek: The Next Generation, I wasn’t sure if it was worth watching. But it totally was.

Very worthwhile read.
The cause of Apollo 11’s landing alarms is actually a lot more complicated.

From the original article: "the two separate 800Hz 28VAC feeds to the ATCA and the CDUs needed to be both frequency-locked and phase-synchronized." We'd call this a clock-skew error. Oddly enough, the first launch of the space shuttle was scrubbed for a clock-skew error too.

The Shuttle computers had been programmed by two teams, and on power-up the A computers were to sync with the B computer. There was a one in 64 chance of failure to sync and although they never hit it testing they hit the jackpot on the first real launch. They had to scrub the launch so they could figure out what went wrong.

You get to make your own dish, so if it's bad, it's your fault :-) Lots of variety and quality ingredients. You don't really need the all-you-can-eat option, just pile it on and you will have more than enough to fill you up, even if you're really hungry.

Always very crowded because the food is good. Best to use their app to order online and just skip the line and pick-up to go. Not a lot of seating inside.

I've been eating at China King restaurants for over 20 years. The hunan chicken is comfort food and never disappoints. That said, in 20 years I've never had anything else on the menu. It's cheap and exactly what you should expect for $5, but still tasty.

Hot and sour soup was sooooo sour. All vinegar. Not the best I've had in the area.
