If you're familiar with your geologic eras, this is hilarious.

Ya. They are a similar breed mix. But Copper will definitely be smaller.

Can't wait to see this movie. And this trailer contains my ALL TIME new favorite line... ever! Yes, it's "science" related and... you'll know it when you hear it.

I'm getting more and more excited as each new photo of Pluto is revealed! Call me a dreamer but I'm also hoping New Horizons is able to catch a glimpse of Macross Island. (too geeky???)
New color images from NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft show two very different faces of the mysterious dwarf planet, one with a series of intriguing spots along the equator that are evenly spaced.

NOT ONLY is this a WIN for Equality, it is a WIN for the separation of church and state. To have opposed same sex marriage would have been an enforcement of religious doctrine. Instead, the SCOTUS sided with the constitution and the law. In doing so, reaffirms (as was done at the founding of this country) that the US IS NOT a Christian nation.
In a landmark victory for gay rights, a divided Supreme Court ruled that state prohibitions on same-sex marriage violate the Constitution.

Can we make it illegal for someone to frivolously run for president repeatedly (aka TRUMP) the same way calling 911 for non-emergencies can result in criminal charges. Please!!!!

The lack of backward compatibility was the main reason I skipped the current console generation. So, it's reintroduction into the Xbox One REALLY has my attention. But I'll wait and see how this plays out. I worry that it will only be a token effort on select titles in order to use the bullet point. Obviously, my trust in MS is pretty shaken. AND for the record, caving to consume outrage is NOT "listening to consumer feedback"... no matter how hard MS tries to spin it.

Working in a world of Masters and PhDs, it’s nice to remember the relativity of it all. Right now, there is no greater accomplishment than becoming a 6th grader. Congrats, Aaron!

I'm not much of a baseball fan but I'd TOTALLY start going to games if this headline were true.

Introduction
I produce the Aaron's World podcast. An imaginative science podcast for young kids hosted by my 11 (started at 6) year old son, Aaron.

Aaron's World is a 50 episode audio-drama following Aaron's time traveling adventures through the prehistoric world with his trusty talking computer companion, INO.

You can subscribe via iTunes or visit (www.mydogrocket.com) for more information.

Google Plus is my social media home. I love it here. If you want to get to know me and my podcasting family a little better, you've come to the right place. I don't post a lot, but when I do it tends to be public, family-focused, with lots of pictures. And a generous sprinkling of tech, science, and geekiness thrown in for fun.

Oh, and I tend to change my cover photo to match what I'm currently working on in the podcast. Not always, but clues and hints to upcoming episodes do pop up from time to time.
