Dramatic changes in the industry have right-sized SEO to be a healthy part of the marketing mix rather than the landscape-leveling secret weapon it once was. However, natural search still accounts for 50% of most site's traffic and reaching out to prospects at that critical moment of inquiry continues to be the responsibility of every company, and it is still where I specialize—seamlessly blending paid and earned media marketing.
Driven by curiosity, I have over the past 20 years tackled many of the largest search problems in the industry with a passion that often compels me invent such timeless tools as HitTail.com and 360iTiger. I was the SEO Director on the Apple account, and co-Director on JCPenney where I was instrumental in getting one of the most notorious Google-bans of all time lifted.
I work equally well with tech and people, combining strong leadership and communication skills with my robust technical knowledge to build consensus and get things done where others have failed.
