If you have any interest in furniture refinishing, restoration or conservation, you absolutely need to check it out! Give me a shout if you are interested!

Something for my own home. Oak China cabinet painted in Benjamin Moore Tate Olive and the back panels in Revere Pewter. Added LED lighting as well.

Sent home on the weekend. Repaired scratches in the top and renewed the French polish which was in rough shape.

That looks great. I love the feeling of satisfaction at the end of a job.

Great article. I'm ordering on Tuesday!
This is Part Four of a seven day series leading up to the official December 1st opening of pre-orders for Mortise & Tenon Magazine Issue One. Each day I'm discussing one tenet of the Mortise & Tenon Manifesto. 4. M&T honors original construction. We believe reproducing original characteristics ...

Hi, I would like to ask for opinions or a choice on what you think sounds better as a business name concept. Here's some background info

I am a furniture refinisher owning the company Sandra Dee Furniture Refinishing. I bought it a couple of years ago from Sandra Dee (not the American Actress) when the opportunity arose and it's been good and profitable work. However, I want to add making custom furniture to my offerings as it's something I have a great passion for.

One option is Antero's Urban Wood Designs. Which is a name I've used in the past when doing it as a hobby, although I didn't market it long enough to build a brand.

The other option I am considering is "A Grove of Trees - Custom Furniture & Millwork" as that is what my last name roughly translates to.

The biggest reason I need to ask this now is that I am forming a corporation to protect my personal assets, enjoy lower taxes (is it possible to enjoy taxes?) and the other multitude of benefits that come from incorporation in Canada. However, I don't know if I want to incorporate as Sandra Dee Furniture Refinishing or have my own corporation name and make SDFR a division of it etc.

Give me your vote and let me know your thoughts!

Many thanks in advance!

Better than the big chain pizzerias. When I walked in, I saw the slices on display and figured there was no way the full pies would be so loaded. I was wrong! So full of toppings and plenty of cheese. My only complaint was they didn't give the dip as requested and paid for. Unfortunately we missed this until we got back to the hotel with the pizza and wasn't about to go back. Otherwise I would recommend!

The Bison Burger was the best danged burger I've ever had .... EVER. I was like Bruce Banner trying out the Schwarma at the end of the Avengers movie.

Good customer service and reliable for my first time using their service. The guys across the street refused to rent me a truck as I was not a corporate client.

Great atmosphere, love the use of wood in the decor. One of the best beef dips I've had. The booths are a little cozy for my taste, but the small round booth was perfect. Definitely recommended!

I recently dropped my phone and cracked the screen. They fixed my phone for $85.00 in about 30 minutes. No hassles and good customer service.

Great service and knowledgeable staff. While you can get cheaper trailers elsewhere, the trailers they sell are built to stand up to commercial abuse. I bought a great trailer and I will get my next one from them as well!
