Professional Refinishers Group conference this past week in Tennessee. A fantastic collection of individuals trying to further the craft through sharing and gathering of knowledge.

If you have any interest in furniture refinishing, restoration or conservation, you absolutely need to check it out! Give me a shout if you are interested!

Sent home on the weekend. Repaired scratches in the top and renewed the French polish which was in rough shape.

Hey Dyami, pretty good attempt! One thing to consider if you're going to go for a do over. Maybe cut the veneer patch a little further into the body so that the cross grain cuts are hidden behind or at least flush with the bezel.

Nice colour matching too! You can use some of that dye to blend it with the surrounding wood and make it even more indistinguishable before giving it a coat of shellac or whatever your top coat will be.
