It was an early start yesterday morning at the historic St Faith's Church at Ohinemuta, Rotorua, NZ. The water in the foreground is actually boiling hot and creating a lot of steam due to thermal activity in the area. I thought it might look interesting with a long exposure.

The Champagne Pool, Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland, Rotorua, New Zealand.
The dark clouds in the background make a nice contrast to the sunlit and brightly coloured thermal pool.  The colours are natural and are dreived from mineral deposits in the water.

Looking like something out of Star Wars, this is the new entrance foyer building, Toitū Otago Settlers Museum, Dunedin, New Zealand.Shot at Dusk to emphasise the red exterior lighting with the last of the daylight.
