Here's a good Readlang'd Korean article on a man who circumnavigates the world using biofuel. Not too long, but interesting.

I think it's okay to highjack pop culture for learning. Here's some anatomy and health terms for fans of Fallout and Korean. Feel free to share your own vocabulary learning drawings too.

With all the news about Virtual Reality from Google, Microsoft and Facebook, here's a chance to read a short article and try out Readlang at the same time.

You'll be surprised at how easy it is to 'gist' the article, no matter your level in Korean or lack of specialized vocabulary (always a problem for any of us, right?).

It's all set up, no downloads needed, just click and learn. Tell me what you liked and didn't like.

5 Free Resources For Learning Korean You Probably Don't Know About.

There are so many resources out there, which ones are most helpful for you?

Also, these sites will be very helpful for Koreans who want to understand the perspective of native English speakers who are trying to learn Korean.

I've been using Readlang's webapp and Chrome extension for reading in another language for a while now, and I can't recommend it enough.

Make sure to use the flashcards function in order to maximize your learning time and exposures to the vocab you want to learn.

For those learning #Korean  or spend time typing in any other script, this is for you. Quick shortcut here.

If you're like me, and constantly typing things like 'ㅑㅜㅠ태' into your address bar instead of the English URL you are intending, you can make a work around shortcut in Chrome easily like this:

1. Go to the URL you want to go to. In my case, it's

https://inbox.google.com/

2. Copy that URL.

3. Right click on the address bar (called Omnibox) and select 'Edit Search Engines'.

4. Type in what you want to call the shortcut (actually a custom search we're hijacking), I called mine 'Inbox' in the left column.

5. Type in what you usually accidentally mistype when you have your keyboard set to the wrong language in the center column.

6. Paste in the URL for where you actually want to go. Press enter.

7. Give it a try!

You can see all my other custom search engines in here, plus ones that Google automagically puts in for you for no explicable reason. These shortcuts save a lot of time over the long haul of language learning. Enjoy.

혹시 회사원 입니까? 5분 있어요?

This is a quick survey I'm doing for a college class, if you are a Korean company worker, I'd love to hear from you. Questions are in Korean and English.

Based on this survey, we will be matching those interested with English speaking partners. (Native Korean speakers only, thanks).
