Mike helps connect the dots. He connects audiences with brands. He builds and fosters communities, and then connects them with brands and their messaging. He ensures brand messaging is well-defined and tells the right story, so that it connects to the right audience, on the right channel, at the right time. And he makes sure those stories connect to/convert on the right objectives. No matter how many dots, Mike can connect them.
Formerly a magazine journalist, Mike is constantly trying to employ a multi-disciplinary and research-based approach to digital strategy to ensure the channel approach, the content, and the engagement tactics are working together to deliver on a brand’s promise. Apart from that, he has incredibly useful pieces of paper from Montreal’s McGill University (BA in English Literature) and Ryerson University in Toronto (a post-graduate BAA in Journalism).
