We all found it impressive when Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum put up 125,000 Dutch works of art online.

+Brad Leclerc have you seen this?
Some games have permadeath, where death causes you to lose a character forever. Upsilon Circuit, however, has perma-permadeath. If you lose, you can never play the game again.

And yet again another thing to understand with respect to my work environment.

More DevOps 101 for my friends starting work on the cloud.
Some things go great together. Bread and butter, baseball and spring, and Agile and DevOps. But since you can't taste or easily watch Agile in DevOps, let me explain why they go together so well. First, a quick refresher: DevOps is the practice of operations and development engineers working ...

Penny Arcade might not be everyone's cup-o-tea, but this was very well presented dialog about children and video games. Essentially focused on "be the knowledgeable parent"

Had a great time yesterday with my granddaughter. The Kensington Park maple syrup tour is very well done and includes time to learn a syrup parable story from a Native American as well as how to tap and boil down the sap.

I need to do one of these tours eventually; it's such a fun way for kids to learn where some of our food comes from.

Enterprise Identity Management, as fun as it sounds -- Really.
Introduction
I've worked over 18 years in corporate IT doing systems support on NetWare, Unix, and Linux platforms.  Plus 10 years serving in the US Air Force supporting NetWare, Unix, and Mainframe systems in a Communications Systems Programmer position.

Most recently I've specialized in support and maintenance of large scale Identity and Security applications to include eDirectory, Identity Manager, UserApp, as well as Access Manager.  I am very comfortable with virtually anything Identity/security related, and can work with these products on NetWare, Unix, Windows, and Linux platforms.

Dinner at the Magnolia was excellent, menu had good variety and reasonably priced for a beautiful night out. We had shrimp with snow peas rice and a spicy carribean jerk sauce. Plus grouper shrimp and linguini followed by pecan pie with cinnamon ice cream, chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Delicious dinner, perfect portions, great atmosphere, and excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend this as a place to try while in Turks and Caicos.

Located a short walk away from the park and flower gardens, this restaurant provided a pleasant atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price. We were meeting a group there and were able to have a good time talking and enjoying the meal without feeling rushed. Everything tasted great and the prices were much better than we expected for a town geared for the tourist trade. If we ever make it back to Portsmouth this will be a place to stop again,
