Sometimes I wish there were a guaranteed way to filter every negative message as perceived in childhood. If I could do that, I'd wipe the slate clean! The memories might remain, but the negative messages from those memories would magically reset. Presto! Emotional equilibrium. Ahhh……

Oppression – the state of being subject to unjust treatment or control. We're used to hearing about oppressive governments, but what about the oppressive feeling that circumstances in general dictate your life? Forced submission. Most of us might not consciously believe we're being forced into ...

I contend that the source of chronic illness is polysystemic.  I suffered from a constellation of health challenges: arthritis, diabetes, vision loss, PMS, fragile nails and broken skin around nails, diabetes, depression, an interstitial mycoplasma.  After multi-layered detox of Systemic Candidiasis + commensal microbial loads, Hg + related metals (especially from dental amalgams), chemicals (bigPharm, pesticides, etc), PTSD and Lectins from eating foods incompatible with Blood Type A-nonSecretor Status, with every level of release miraculous healing emerged.
So, though there may be a higher logic beneath my awareness, the equation that getting the hormone-disrupting loads off your feet worked for me.

Overcoming self-criticism
It doesn’t matter where you are or what you’re doing. If you tend to criticize yourself, even the best day is ruined. The inner critic is a universal source of angst.

Well.....I am getting over Outback. It used to be ok, but lately this location has been suffering. The last two times we ate there we had to send food back twice during each visit and ended up getting at least one of our meals to go due to time constraints. And they do not accommodate by comping any portion of the ticket. So...go. Order. Get wrong/bad food. Wait forever. Pay full price for a meal that you take home, put in the fridge and probably throw away the next day. I don't usually do restaurant reviews, but this location probably needs a good manager. Our server was nice, though. But that doesn't cut it. I would avoid this Outback location.

Best doctor in the valley. He is thoughtful, attentive and has a great attitude. Dr. Mitzer is also open to alternative care - which is priceless. And he personally knows a lot about alternative health care. So, he represents the best of both worlds. If there is any drawback to his practice, it is that he spend a lot of time with each patient making sure all of your questions are answered. Not sure that is a drawback, because when I am with him, I get what I need. If I have to wait a few extra minutes for this rare service, then I am glad to do it.

Bought my bike at The Bike Shop - I'll be a customer for life. They are all cyclists there and understand the sport as well as anyone. Friendly, no pressure - great selection and very nice atmosphere. Took extra time and care making sure my bike fits me. Good people - highly recommended.

In these times of corporate dental practices, it is refreshing to go to Dr. Herber. The office is clean and well kept and it feels like you are dealing with a human being who cares about what he is doing. Thank you, Dr. Herber!
