Little bit of a departure from techy stuff...

Started making Glace Peel using lemons today... first step was to take 2kg of lemons, cut in half, and scoop out the pulp leaving just the rind and pith - now in the freezer till tomorrow night.

Tomorrow starts the fun - water, dextrose, sugar, salt.... The hardest part so far was locating some glucose/dextrose. As it turns out, Pak'n'Save of all places has powdered dextrose. none of the more 'up market' supermarkets I tried do.
