Google giving a boost to HTTPS? "The implication is that most of traffic will now be using HTTPS rather than HTTP"

Google Has Given HTTPS A Huge Boost
For a while now there’s been talk of Google favoring secure HTTPS pages in its results. We just noticed this week that any Google searches for content on our web site now return secure HTTPS URLs instead of HTTP...

Stop what you're doing an install this Chrome extension!!!! Been using it for less than a week and it's changed EVERYTHING!

Speed Read the Web!
_Spreed is a Chrome extension that lets you blaze through online articles, reading them in half or a third of the time it usually takes you. It does this by utilizing a visual technique used by the fastest speed readers in the world.

Speed reading hinges on the reader's ability to silence his or her inner voice sounding each word out as he or she reads. Spreed is an extension that trains you to read faster while eliminating this subvocalization. The average person reads at 200 words per minute; using Spreed, you can easily train yourself to read at 400 words._

  • SwellPath
SEO Team Manager, 2013 - present
As the SEO Team Manager at SwellPath, I'm responsible for leading the agency's SEO offering. A huge part of that is advancing our approach to search marketing, developing long-term client strategies, and developing new SEO offerings and techniques. I also work closely with the CEO and sales team to scope new engagements and am tasked with advancing the agency's reputation though being SwellPath's "face of SEO" (i.e., interfacing with key stakeholders, speaking at conferences, and blogging). On the team side, I work to direct, collaborate with, and mentor senior SEO analysts, search analysts, and junior digital analysts. It's not only my job to be the most informed and experienced SEO specialist in the office, but to share that expertise and information with the entire team through both structured and unstructured knowledge sharing.

I went to the Float Shoppe for my second float tank experience and I loooooooved it. Nothing against the place I went the first time (I think it's the only other place in town), but it just wasn't my vibe. The Float Shoppe, on the other hand, made me feel right at home (it's actually an old house converted into a float tank shop) and I was able to relax right away. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, gave me a full tour, and let me choose a room that was right for me. The float experience was awesome as well. I can't wait to come back. Getting out my calendar right now to plan on a 3-hour float!

Best nursery that I've ever been to in my life. The owner used to work for Intel and left to follow his dream with this nursery! The guy is seriously knowledgable and (no joke) taught me everything I know about caring for trees and other plants. My wife and I have been loyal customers here since our first visit nearly three years ago. We've bought cherry, almond, persimmon, fig, and mulberry trees here as well as some shrubbery. Every time we buy something new, the owner walks us through when to plant it and how to take care of it. He always has a smile on his face, too. Go here!

Veggie Grill is so amazing, I dream about it. The food is transcendental, the staff is amazing (it's like they go out of their way to hire nice people!), and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Also, it's 100% vegan. If you're not down with "vegan food", I'd still recommend giving this place a try. I've brought family and friend here who "don't like vegan food" who have been amazed that the sandwiches don't actually have chicken. Great place, amazing food, must try.

Our whole company went to Wet Planet Whitewater for a team building outing this last summer, and it was a blast! The staff and guides were great, the rafting gear all seemed super high quality, and the river itself was amazing. Really great scenery, fun rapids, and good times all around. The staff at Wet Planet even provided a vegan lunch for me on the trip (which is a big deal for me. lol.) It made me feel like they really cared (which they do!). I'd recommend an adventure with Wet Planet to anyone.
