Today we're going to discuss an effective set of patterns for large-scale JavaScript application architecture. The material is based on my talk of the same name, last presented at LondonJS and inspired by previous work by Nicholas Zakas.

So there are a lot of people who wake up every morning, driven by a desire to see the web platform succeed for applications. (+Yehuda Katz & +Alex Russell come to mind, +Dion Almaer too)

At the same time, I notice a lot some people capable of driving change, some standards folk & web evangelists, that don't feel urgency. :(
I feel like no one has made the case, broadly, that the web platform needs ambition, execution, and speed to usher in compelling apps.

How do you think we can clearly explain to everyone here that we're in a platform war and its key to prioritize our efforts?
