This is indeed completely ridiculous. A fine or e.g. a period of community service would be perfectly appropriate, but potentially ending up spending years in prison for something like this doesn't make any sense.

They both have to register as "sex offenders" and he may get 15 years in prison even though no one can prove whether they were actually having sex! This is ridiculous and awful.
A jury Monday found a couple guilty of having sex on Bradenton Beach after only 15 minutes of deliberation.

Some of these Star Wars posters are really out of this world :D

My favourites are "A New Hope, Italy, 1977", both  "A New Hope, Hungary, 1979" posters and both "The Empire Strikes Back, Poland" posters.
Nothing could be more familiar than the original Star Wars poster, featuring Darth's head looming over our light saber-wielding heroes. But that poster has gone through a lot of mutations in its lifetime, as the movie journeyed across the globe. Here are some of the weirdest and most obscure Star Wars posters in existence.

An yet another shot of Staffa / Am Buachaille. I promise this is the last one (for now :). That place is just utterly gorgeous, I could have happily stayed there for days just taking photos.

Keksi working on her ongoing project "making my favourite pillows as hairy as possible". As can be seen here she's put a lot of effort on it already :P

The kitties also had their bi-annual vaccination and health check-up and everything was fine, so I hope they will be around for many years of devious feline antics and cuteness still :)

This very alien landscape I saw at Isle of Staffa (a small island in Inner Hebrides archipelago off the coast of Scotland) makes me wish I wouldn't have to wake up tomorrow to go to work, but could instead enjoy something slightly more unusual...

Staffa (on the right) and Am Buachaille (on the left) have a lot of these hexagonal basalt columns, resulting in an otherworldy look.

My delayed processing journey through summer vacation trip 2013 photos continues. This misty view near 'S Airde Beinn was pretty gorgeous.

From the department of "cats have a very different idea of comfortable positions"; Noki rests contently on her back on the top of a bare wooden bookshelf.

Ingress (personal) year one

Exactly one year ago I stopped by for one beer between watching Manta getting capped and going home. While sipping the beer I also launched a game my ex-colleague had recommended to me and wondered about the swirling blue and green colours, the flood of activity by other players and the rapidly dropping battery charge. The phrase "and the rest is history" certainly applies here. :)

So, after coming once again from watching Manta getting her cap, I thought it would only be appropriate to come into the same bar, get a beer, reminisce some of the Ingress stuff that has happened since last May and charge the bloody battery. Let's see if there's year two :)

Unfortunately not, the beer back then was a Belgian pale ale that was not available right now. But sometimes one has to make compromises anyway :)

Another shot of Staffa (foreground) and Am Buachaille (background). I'm working slowly but surely through my 2013 vacation trip backlock, let's see if I can manage to finish before this year's trip and a new pile of photos :)

After a hiatus it's time to resume the #caturday picture tradition, this time featuring a guest star: a nice slightly older feline overmistress seen at Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. She was very friendly especially during the afternoon tea and cake time, as can be seen here :)

(the local two feline fiends are doing just fine and will resume their G+ presence in the forthcoming weeks)

A quite good Mexican restaurant, can be a bit crowded at times though.

A nice place for lunch. Can be a bit crowded at peak lunch time. As a bonus there are usually art exhibitions and other culture-related stuff around the rest of Kaapelitehdas if you're interested about arts.
