The eye has it - or has not. Then the imagination. Than, a good camera is useful. Time, patience, love of the medium. Ok photographers, what else?
 
self-learning is slow but deep. education speeds up the process. and if one is not a good self learner then s/he needs education.
 
Well, that's true. emerging talent in him someone who can not be changed by others.
 
You can teach someone how to use the camera - but the next steps you have to do yourself.
 
Totally agree, the fundamentals are taught, the rest of it is trial error shoot, shoot, shoot. With some good critique along the way.
