If the sun is infinitely closer to the earth than we have been told; and all the empirical evidence suggests that it is; then the sun only illuminates those areas directly beneath it, and as it circles around the flat earth, half the earth is in darkness, half in light.
This is basic flat earth theory, which you should know about, if you wish to challenge it.
And is the sun infinitely closer to earth than we have been told it is?
If you go back to basic physics, and think about the inverse square law for the dissemination of light and heat; is it possible that a sphere 93 million miles away would be able to both heat and light the earth? To the extent that we can have deserts here, whose temperatures are high enough to cook eggs? Given that the temperature even at the sun's surface is only a few thousand degrees celsius?
( Incidentally, the temperature a few thousand km above it is in the tens of millions Celsius; how does this square with the standard model of how the sun is supposed to operate? )
On an even more simplistic level; have you seen all the videos
surfacing on YT showing clouds going behind the sun and the moon?
Why do you think education has not been invested in, even for those who claim to be scientifically literate? Are you being denied the very tools you need so as to make sense of the information you are spoon-fed from childhood?
