I'm very sorry to hear of this distressing situation. To bring clarity to the situation, we were the receiver on this delivery purchased through a broker; an order which we receive multiple times throughout the year. The dispute arose over the fact that, because of insurance and liability reasons, we were unable to enter your truck to unload the skids delivered like you requested. Our shipping crew did supply a pallet jack for you to bring the skid to the tailgate for us to unload with our forklift. What is unfortunate is, despite the repeat order, the broker failed to bid or contract the job with tailgate delivery, thereby creating a compensatory gap between contract price and required delivery parameters.
Without being present during the exchange, I will say that this type of incident or a negative vendor experience is an extreme rarity for our organization, and certainly the exception to our otherwise exemplary customer service and vendor service record. I hope you will be open to reconsidering your opinion of our organization, as we continue to strive to provide excellent service to both our customers and vendors whom we do business with.
