I thought I would save some money and go with a MVNO plan, but after less than a month I am already on their black list with just about 2GB of data us

+Zach Dasher the $30 T-Mobile plan is all you. 5GB, and if you hit your throttle before 30 days, you can refill and get another 5GB.

Interesting comment about this - I have bought my last two MacBooks in April...
When it comes to evaluating the next big thing, we turn to our secret weapon: the TUAW braintrust. We put the question to you and let you have your go at it. Today's topic is buying Apple portables just as the speculation is warming up for model refreshes, new processors and all that goodness. April, as some say, is the cruelest month. Here at TUAW, we regularly get calls and emails from friends and colleagues asking us "is this the right time t...

Pretty amazing stuff here.
Google has started showing off Project Glass, a mobile computing interface contained in a pair of eyeglasses. Now I love cool, future-reaching technology. That most of them, even from the huge players, are demoware that never sees the light of day notwithstanding, they inspire and inform where technology is heading — and that technology is increasingly mobile. Apple doesn’t do demos, of course. They typically take the stage, show off a finished p...

I had a feeling +Phil Nickinson was going to say this...
And there's perhaps the No. 1 question stemming from our HTC One X review: Is it better than the Samsung Galaxy Nexus? It's easy enough to spot the similarities. Both have 4.7-inch displays. Both are running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. They're both pretty thin not not heavy for their size. Neither has a micro-SD card. I've been using the Samsung Galaxy Nexus since November. I've been using the HTC One X for a week. So which one is "better?" I...

Hi Mickey I went with the HTC One X after seeing the Samsung Note in person it was just too large. The only downside is a locked boot loader and no micro SD expansion other than that with the latest leaked updated it is approaching perfection.

Great piece about what T-Mobile will be doing with LTE.

T-Mobile needs to work on their coverage before they worry so much bout speed. I had to ditch them for VZW cuz there are so many 3G/4G dead zones. I was pretty much always in 2G @ work and home and I live in a big city... Phoenix.

A straight answer about Straight Talk by +Kevin Tofel

All of your questions answered. (But if I missed any, just shout 'em out!)
I recently using Straight Talk, a Tracfone-owned cellular provider that resells service on both AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. After a few weeks of testing and some questions posed to the company, ...

Jailbreaking has come a long way. I can see why people enjoy it so much!
I jailbreak so I can install apps like Intelliscreen X and Zephyr. If you jailbreak, you understand the allure of Cydia and all the fantastics apps available therein. If you don't jailbreak, then the video below from Mario Dabek of Jailbreak Matrix has 100 reasons why you might want to consider cracking open your device to apps outside the iOS App Store. Video: 100 reasons to jailbreak your iPhone originally appeared on TUAW - The Unofficial App...

For those thinking about a Verizon Galaxy Nexus, buy one for a limited time and Samsung is throwing in a free extended battery for you!
Samsung must be keenly aware that the Galaxy Nexus' battery life takes a hit on Verizon's LTE network: for a limited time, the outfit's throwing in a free 2,100mAh extended battery for first-time buyers (sorry, current Nexus owners are out of luck). To take advantage of the promotion, you'll have to purchase it through Samsung Direct (link below), which means you'll be paying $300 for the device and agreeing to a two-year contract. As Android and...
