In case you're interested in having a say in a possible "retro" ThinkPad model from Lenovo.
This week's survey is about operating system, batteries, TrackPoint caps ( I promised this would be asked), logo design and more. Tell us your views, we are listening.

Extreme summer storms often result in hail, it was close to 90f/30c before & after the storm, and temperatures at the group dropped to about 80/25 during the storm.

Good, fast Indian food experience. Food usually ready in 5 minutes or less, you can come in and sit down and they have beer at a reasonable price for the area (and Tank 7 for $6). My only complaint is that if I order a full meal to eat there for example an appetizer, main course, and desert is that it all is ready at the same time. But, the quality is good and the staff are very nice, and sometimes offer up free Samosa. I haven't had a bad dish yet, and I do recommend the Veggie Coconut Curry, the Tandoori Chicken Naan (sandwich made with Indian Naan bread) and the Masala Potatoes.

Friendly staff and best food in the area. Their fried chicken is great, and Friday's fish 'n' chips special is great, burgers are decent too, steaks aren't as good as they used to be but still decent. Place does get packed on weekend night's or on holidays so either arrive early, or late as folk do eat dinner early in these parts. Prices are reasonable, and they have a decent wee selection of beers, and even have draft Guinness tins.

Great extensive, but expensive, beer selection. Cash only, and half price starters after 11ish.

Good old time food, fried chicken, wonderful lamb chops, good steak, pork, & seafood. All main courses start with coleslaw with sliced tomatoes, choice of starter, and corn fritters. Main course includes creamed spuds,.creamed onions, and seasonal vegetables. Sometimes they even have fiddle-heads. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food that they include. I strongly recommend the lamb chops. Service is always prompt, efficient and good. When you arrive you place your order for the main course before you are seated, very retro, but it also gives you time to check out the great old bar.
