When I was younger, I volunteered at a #nursinghome . What I saw made an impression - it was not good. I had the chance to interview #caregiving expert Elaine Sanchez, and she shared some tips on choosing homes and caring for loved ones in your own home.
Elder caregiver expert Elaine Sanchez provides a number of tips for children who are looking into nursing homes, assisted living facilities or home health care for their parents.

This is a pretty fascinating infographic. I'm in the 20 percent demographic. I cannot fathom using #twitter  to gain love and acceptance. LOL

The Psychology of Twitter [infographic]

"Humans are social creatures who constantly seek to fulfill basic emotional needs, including belonging, social acceptance, self-esteem and validation.  Twitter allows people to connect with other users (both near and far) and spark relationships based on mutually shared interests, fostering a sense of belonging or acceptance by others.  Gaining followers, likes or re-tweets can bolster a person’s feelings of social acceptance, validation, and eventually, their self-esteem – even if these interactions exist only in the virtual world."

Check out this infographic that illustrates the psychology of; why we share on Twitter? What intrigue people to follow you on Twitter? and more!

Story
Tagline
Medical Content Writer and Drugwatch Radio Host
Introduction
Hi everyone! I am a writer who specializes in copy writing, creative writing, magazine writing and technical communications. Currently, I am based in the Orlando area and putting my skills to work for Drugwatch.com, a consumer advocacy website. I write a lot of medical content, research medical studies, write news, interview experts and make complex medical content accessible to the users of the website.

Recently, I became the host of a health podcast called Drugwatch Radio. I interview health experts and people who experienced medical issues resulting from dangerous drugs and medical devices. Drugwatch Radio's mission is to inform consumers about health risks and answer questions about treatment options. I love being able to help people by providing them the information that can assist them in making better health choices.

My professional experience has also included working for local law firms and specializing in personal injury case management. I also worked briefly as an ISD (Instructional Systems Design) specialist for a company that develops courses for online universities worldwide.

I love new tech, superheroes (and villains), video games, reading, writing and living. :)

Here is a link to my online portfolio and resume, Literary Llamas.
