Hey everyone! This girl derives from the state of Texas; her style is a "poetic" approach to reality, it can be harsh and even heartbreaking at times, that's how Michelle expresses herself in her writing.
Michelle's love for writing comes from the admiration she has for her late Mother, being a published poet herself. Her Mother passed away in 2011 after a long drawn out battle with Huntington's Disease, this is the inspiration behind the lyrics for Michelle's song "Moma's Box of Memories"!
Michelle grew up in Texas raised on Harleys and Horses, literally! She acquired the title of MOTOmom, being the proud race mom of some outstanding kids that race dirt bikes, their family sport is motocross and the family absolutely loves it, spending weekends barbecuing, camping out at the race tracks.
Under her belt Michelle's received many "editor's choice awards" from the Poetry Guild, some of her works are published in several anthologies. You'll find her ebooks at Bookrix, Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Apple Ibookstore, Kobo...
Influences are Elvis Presley, George Strait, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Deana Carter, Olivia Newton-John, Mary J. Blige, Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow, Martina McBride, Pink and Eminem!
The latest for Michelle; her year contract has termed with Mountain Row Music, she has expressed that her intentions are not to renew her contract, Michelle's got some new changes happening taking her down a different path! Her work continues with Kim Copeland Productions and Ragtop Recording Studios on her music project, already has the first two songs in top quality demo format ready for listening! She has much more material and last we heard from Michelle is that she has a lot of new songs written so this will be an ongoing venture!
With such a love for writing, Michelle's expressed her future goals are to continue writing as many songs and books as she possibly can; her family being most important in her life, is where her desires for success thrives from...Michelle stated, "My wishes are that my husband. Dale, my kids and grand-kids will be proud of what I'm trying to accomplish within this lifetime for them."
