This is a bit long but worth your time.   Her closing comments about how this should involve everyone, of both genders, are exactly on point.

This is great. Very well done.

I didn't understand what this meant when I saw someone mention yellow ribbons on dogs a month or so ago.  Good to know and a great idea.

A signal boost for the new year:

Any Arcanists out there that were also working on macros?  I am looking for the correct syntax to macro your pet's abilities?  I did not have any luck guessing what to use.

I have not been in the FFX world for a long time and have some basic questions.  Thanks in advance if you have time to provide some answers!

1)  What constitutes a unique character name?  First name or First and Last name?
2)  What is storage like?  Is there enough or are mule toons / mule guilds a common solution to this problem?
3)  Can you craft from your 'bank'?  Are you able to make things based on ownership of items needed, not based on what you are carrying on you at the moment of crafting?

Thanks again!

A company that helps others hear for the first time with each purchase of a pair of unique headphones.

LSTN is out to change the way you hear music. But, more importantly, LSTN is helping some people to hear anything, often for the very first time. The

How cool .... Perhaps there will finally be someone else to ask what's for dinner tonight?

The Verge: This is how supercomputers cook: IBM’s Watson dreams up creative dishes. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwirifkQk
A master chef can think about a combination of two, maybe three ingredients at a time. Watson, the same IBM supercomputer that won Jeopardy in 2011, can crunch through a quintillion. That's a one...

This significant price difference is why I still use Kindle over Google Play.  I have price checked a handful of times in the last couple of months and Kindle has been less expensive by far.   I am really curious to see how Google Play will ever compete.

Too cool not to reshare.  All of the custom bookshelves done by this person are amazing, take a look.

I hope to never lose any of my electronics, but I misplace things all the dang time.  I am counting on this locate feature to work even if you have the sound off on your phone and can't remember where the heck you last set it down ....

This is probably the Android announcement I'm the most excited about this year -- introducing the Android Device Manager! It will launch later this month, and allow you to remotely locate or wipe your device if it's lost or stolen.

Several months ago I wrote up a long post on Google+ with a lot of security tips for Android users. When the Android Device Manager launches I'll be sure to give that article a major update.

Read up on conditions in those jobs before you apply... They can be grueling.

There is a message here that unfortunately still needs to be heard and taken to heart by far too many. Delivered by beautiful women and a great song.

I'm proud of my friends who made this, and honoured to be part of it.

Really great food served in reasonably sized portions. We have been several times now but today we enjoyed the Brunch for the first time. My daughter could not stop praising The French Toast. Several of us had the Spanish Breakfast which has chorizo, eggs, toasted bread, and tomato sauce. All of the items are house made and so delicious with flavors combined in a unique way that works great together.

The people at the front desk gave widely different work estimates within a day of each other - one week vs three weeks. When we tried to sort out what was causing such a drastic change, each person was blaming the other personally instead of recognizing that they all represent the company. Very unprofessional conduct with no ownership taken of the error or any kind of apology given.

The foot bridge was recently replaced and it is a great spot for salmon watching when they spawn. There is a covered picnic area and clean restrooms. A paved path lets you walk or ride in comfort. 4 stars due to no playground type of equipment.

The pasta is overcooked and the timing of the meals for our table of 4 had about a 20 minute spread. I am guessing 2 orders were forgotten and had to be re-ordered. The caprese salad had barely any balsamic vinegar and the french bread was a little stale and dense.

Clean and comfortable. Small kitchenette in our room that made it easy to enjoy a simple lunch without having to eat out.

Always clean and well stocked. The bulk section has a large variety of quality items that are money savers when buying for a family. The organic produce section could be larger and more varied, why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.
