Zoology for Kids is a must have for your child's bookshelf!
As the parent of an animal lover and an animal lover myself, I can tell you that Zoology for Kids is a book that you will definitely want to add to your collection. My son has read too many animal books to count and frankly, they all start to look the same to me after a while.

Tropical reefs are home to the greatest diversity of fishes in the world. Both the reefs and the fish come in many different shapes and sizes – all carefully selected for their unique adaptations. +Aquarium of the Pacific
Tropical reef fish are probably my favorite fish to photograph because of their bright colors and unique body shapes. Each time I visit an aquarium I take the opportunity to practice capturing these small, often fast swimming creatures. fish-aop-March-14-15-7422 ...

Being a mom is great, but being someone's hero ... That's just plain awesome! http://ow.ly/KxMJ7

#MakingADifference
I've said it many times and I will probably continue to say it a few more times ... being a single parent is no easy task. Heck, in today's world being a parent period is no easy task, married or single. There are so many things to think about, questions to be asked and answered, ...

Tomorrow is #WorldWildlifeDay  and I'm sharing my story this year in hopes that more people will stand up against organized wildlife crime. It's time to get #SeriousAboutWildlifeCrime
Wildlife Crime - You see it on the news and read about it on social media, but do you really know what it is? You might think you do. I know I did ... until one day I came face to face with the reality of wildlife trafficking. This day was so intense that it has taken me two years to share my ...

Conservation of endangered species is not about choosing to save just one, but choosing to save them all.

#RedPanda   #EndExtinction
How many times have you been asked to make a choice? To choose one thing over another. Almost daily, right? Although not an easy task, choosing a favorite color or favorite flavor of ice cream is something most people can do without too much hesitation. If asked to choose between a cat or a dog, ...

I was recently reminded of why I love writing so much. Writing gives us the opportunity to stand up for what we believe in, to give a voice to those that cannot speak for themselves, and to share our passions with others.
Life has a funny way of throwing curve balls. Just when I thought I knew where I was going, someone else had other plans. The signs were coming at me from all directions and it was time for me to start listening to them. Time for me to pick up where I left off .

This blog has brought much joy to my life and has changed Dylan's life in ways I can't even begin to explain. However, as with all good things, there comes a time to scale back. A time to move on to the next adventure.
I started writing this blog seven years ago. Life with Dylan has been a wonderful creative outlet for me and has served as a platform from where I could share Dylan's conservation work with people all over the world. This blog has brought much joy to my life and has changed Dylan's life in ways ...

Introduction

I am a California native with a passion for conservation, wildlife and photography. I maintain my website Life with Dylan, where I write about conservation issues, endangered species, and causes that I believe in. Michelle Fryer Photography is my other site where I use my photographs to tell stories and create awareness.

Inspired by my son Dylan, I see the world a little differently than most. I believe conservation begins with awareness and that one person can make a difference.
