I’ve been obsessed with the art and science of customer acquisition and retention 20 years. Fearing the taunts of “normal folk”, I would hide out while wearing my Jayne Cobb hat, solving calculus problems for fun.
While working with like-minded coffee addicts in network infrastructure and systems management, I learned UNIX, Linux, Microsoft, systems infrastructure and design, network architecture, scripting, and all those copious supporting tools that we tend to use. After that, it was off to information systems land.
When I moved from the tech silo to the business silo, I was introduced to business intelligence—and found my passion for analytics. I opened that long-forgotten box in the closet, donned my Jayne Cobb hat once again and jumped head-first into the deep waters of databases, data warehouses, ETL, deconstruction, and C-level report development. From there, I became a road warrior, traveling across these United States helping businesses integrate project portfolio management and business intelligence enterprise applications successfully.
I decided it was time to stop traveling 100% after many years. Digital and social media marketing was fresh, and my technical and analytics background was a good fit. Taking my passion for creating and maintaining long-term customer relationships, and my technical and analytical skills, I moved into the B2B and B2C realm. And I’m still wearing my hat!
