I was speaking to a business client just this week & we were discussing the concept of 'failure'. Being enormously successful both in her business and personal life I'd assumed 'failure' was something she'd NEVER experienced. But she shared with me some EXTRAORDINARY failures of hers, from which she'd learnt & moved on !
So if you've been feeling a little stuck of late, consider how you can learn and re-frame this. After all ...it's only 'failure' if you allow this to become a permanent state of affairs !!
Here are some 'failure' that have inspired me over the years ...I know their example has inspired me more than a little! What about you?

A few of my thoughts;
As we embark on the journey of the second wave of the internet, global connectedness in the 21st century has brought to us a renaissance. A huge upheaval that has affected and will continue to affect every industry on the planet. The global financial crisis is part of this shift.
Physical shifts are sometimes necessary to provoke mind shifts. Thinking and responding differently is a good thing. My definition of a mind shift is clarity. Clarity of purpose, community and collaboration. As we move forward through the 21st century our personal contributions towards global initiatives and social activism will determine our personal success and the success of the organizations we work for, regardless of the industry.
We are now living world wide open. Our communities reach beyond the cities in which we live. Societies are resetting, adapting, and reinventing. Being involved means more than simply writing a check; it means helping one another bring awareness to things most important to the people in our world. It means becoming an inventor and innovator who contributes. Reach beyond your local demographic and say hello to the world -- stop talking and begin listening.
ME has left the room. Enter WE.

Collecting My Thoughts After A Weekend Of Watching Children Race
I spent 18 hours at an invitational track meet this weekend. Most of my children's races lasted less than 70 seconds. That gives a guy a lot
